You really have the best editing style out of all the channels uploading ncaa wvb games. To take a 2 hrs match and condense it to a quarter of its length, without losing any of the "ball in play" points, very impressive! To top it all, you do it so, immediately. Thank you, it's appreciated ITL.
Awesome match for TCU, and I love the way Nicholson distributed the ball. Usually, against tough opponents, and tight situations, she would feed Parra almost exclusively. But in that 4th set, TCU got about 8 straight kills, and none of them were by Parra -- Kelly got 5 consecutive kills, which was incredible, and Gibson and Sylvester also chipped-in. Gibson went cold for a while there in the 2nd set, almost hitting .100, but came back strong to get her avg back up there. 10 months ago, TCU beat a Baylor team that was ranked #20, 3 sets to 1. They beat a #14 ranked Baylor this time, 3 sets to 1. Awesome.
Yikes, you sound like a conspiracy-theorist to suggest that Lily 'doesn't want Melanie to hit'. Parra is leading the league in attempts and kills, and breaking records in kills per match. Lily sets Parra SO OFTEN, she gets more swings than any other hitter in the country. If she's setting a low-ball, it's because Parra likes it that way -- it causes the middle blocker to be late, thus opening up a seam in the block. And, most top hitters prefer a lower set because it's easier to smash.
@@djbenje4019 Parra doesn’t like low sets because she likes to have a far approach to hit the ball on top of it, neither she likes it backwards because she would be throwing instead of swinging atop of it. You need to play volleyball in order to understand what I’ve said. Take it from a volleyball player and not from mere assumptions.
@@juandelacruz2244 I've played, managed, captained, and coached volleyball since I was a junior in HS. And how is that you KNOW Parra doesn't like low sets? Did she ever say that? Did ANYONE ever say that? The best hitters in the world, like DeFalco love sets that hang in the air in the hitting-zone -- I know from experience as well, it's SO easy to time because the ball is barely descending at the moment you hit it. It's like putting the ball on a tee, it's just sitting there waiting to be smacked. And, like I said, the fast tempo makes it very difficult to get a double-block up. Geesh, u don't seem to know much about high-level vball. U just... whine, lol.
Thank Goodness Parra left Texas She was causing a lot of dissent. She felt she was too good to be sitting on the bench. Good move for her, great move for UT.

Setter sucks for TCU she sets them to low for Melanie like she doesn't want Melanie to hit
Yeah, if not too low, too backwards
