The last time we saw Steve was at a small bar on St Marys street in San Antonio. My son took us out to dinner and to the little bar. It was standing room only w/people standing outside, all young gringos having fun and trying to dance. It was a great nite listening to Steve. He died shortly after. RIP Mr Jordan
Kermit De frog 😂 I knew this was gonna raise some hairs on my fellow chicano brothers. Na bro I’m not saying it’s bad music or I don’t like it, just feel like he was a little over rated. That’s all
Well I am 67 years old, listened & danced to Steve’s music when I was 19 years and he also had go go dancers dance on stage and people went “crazy” at the Baile Grande, McAllen,TX. When Steve died. Texas Monthly wrote a great inspirational story about him, he played 8 instruments. When musicians needed someone to join them, he was happy to help screaming “hell yes!”, I could go on and on. Hope his sons who was part of his band continues to be as talented. RIP Mr Jordan
