As a parent of an UO student (architecture major), I have no problem with the football facilities. Oregon knows that it the sizzle that sells, not the steak. As superficial as football may be, high school seniors across all disciplines are exposed to the University of Oregon by its athletic programs. They may not know anything else about the University besides is athletic programs, however that ris how you attract high-caliber students to take a 2nd look to your university and decide to attend.
I want to go to Oregon and play football and i play football for the beacon hill cowboys now. Oregon football players encourage me to get batter i love you OREGON !!!!!
I've played at a high school facility that been really good but of course my cousins high school facility was better. I've seen Oregon's facilities on a early unofficial campus visit
My grandpa was a coach for Duck Football. Bob Officer. You can look him up on the UofO hall of fame or the Bob Officer award that the head coach awards every year to a Duck. I played Golf at Oregon and my Dad played football there. So talk all the shit you want but I grew up in Mac Court. If i wanted to tour the facility im sure grandma could make it happen...
You must not have watched the whole video because he clearly said you do not build this place unless your planning on being the very best, Oregon has great trainers that teach the players how to get better I don't know what you're talking about.
It's amazing to read all these comments that r so against O having a facility like this. Any university in the WORLD would kill to have this facility for any sport. Oh, and for those of u who think student tuition went to pay for this, I'd do a little research before making comments. Ever heard of Nike, Phil Knight, boosters? I live minutes from ND and their facility is nice, but I know Coach Kelly would sell his soul to the devil to have this for his players. ND's "Gug" is completely booster paid for. Hence the nickname "Gug" (short for Guglielmino), the man who paid for it. GO DUCKS!!!
Not even close. I saw all of Nebraska's stuff. It looks really nice, more than any athlete would need. But Nebraska is new to this game. Nebraska's new stuff is just getting up to par with Oregon's "older" facilities. Take a look at Oregon's old locker room. This new place blows the top off of Nebraska's.
No, I'm better than that, I'm a Yankees fan, lol. I already know that Wrigleyville is on the north side of Chicago. I'm just saying that if people are already killing each other on the south side, what's the big deal if it happens on the north side? Add to that, Wrigley Field isn't selling out anymore.
Except for the Fiesta Bowl Championship Trophy, The Rose Bowl Championship Trophy, The other Fiesta Bowl Championship Trophy, Multiple Conference Championship Trophy's etc. etc. etc.
It's sad how top recruits commit to Oregon because they think a nice gym and their 1 billion different dressup outfits will win them a national championship.
How's that sad. 90% of their players are from the west coast time zone. If a blue chip player wants to stay on the west coast and play in the Pac12, he can go to USC, UCLA, or Oregon. Oregon offers everything those programs can offer in terms of football opportunity, and them some.
Tina Pert ya, that's nice... but the best players want to play on the best teams, and right now Oregon is not in that category. They lost to Oregon State, and had embarrassing loses at Autzen. They still lost the National Championship games they played in. Look, the fact is Oregon is not an elite college football team right now. I could see that happening again in the future, but they still went 4-8 in 2016, and the fact the lost twice in the championship doesn't change that.
This was the first bad season for Oregon in like 12 years so we still are a top football program in the country. Just because they had a bad season doesn't mean they aren't a top-class program. We should have beat Colorado and Nebraska and did beat Utah. We also have a very young team. Just wait until two years from now.
Jwin Gaming No but we have won 13 NC... Its great you won your consolation prize 4 out 5 years. I cant wait to see Oregon schedule great out of conference games instead of Nicolas state and the cupcakes they schdule. I honestly think your best days are behind you. When Chip Kelly left so did your team. But good luck this year maybe Oregon can win a big one one of these days.
***** Oregon came literally a few inches away from winning against Auburn (if Dwyer was about 2 or even 1 more inch down) so it's not like Oregon hasn't even come close. And it's not like SEC schools don't schedule cupcakes early in the season either. Oregon still has Marcus Mariota who when healthy is one of the most dangerous players in the country, and a running back group that is very deep and has unusual size for the running backs that typically play for Oregon. Not to mention they finally seemed to have beefed up on defense, particularly the defensive line. So in short I wouldn't say the Ducks best days are behind them.
Oregon is going all the way this year. and did you watch the video? Oregon is about the future, while other teams focus on their past. who cares how many you won in the PAST? nobody. Oregon is relevant here and now. and as for having "cupcake" games? the SEC and all other conferences and teams have those. and by the way, I believe oregon beat #7 michigan state 46-27. goducks.
ok, i am not making fun, or saying anything negative... but seriously does the asian dude in the vest remind you of LLOYD FOR ENTOURAGE?!! i mean seriously, he is lloyd incarnate
This is the reason why i don't engage in youtube comments, because the people commenting act SOO stupid, when in reality they will not say even half the shit they post on videos.
me and my friend were talking would you rather be on a team know for a gang mentality and wins a lot of championships or be like Oregon have 20000000 jerseys have all this flash a zero championships I said I would take gang mentality over flash
+Michael Cunningham you sound crazy Oregon is one of the best colleges ever people only think of their uniforms but not how a former Heisman trophy winner was drafted from there and also one of the fastest running backs came from there to play with the chiefs so do your research before you talk about what you don't know
So instead of using that money to pay their poor athletes and their poor families, but instead build a sports facility with unneeded expensive excessories
Parole Tide what I would like to see is Alabama graduate some Football players and win on the field. If tomorrow the NCAA kicked players out of CFB for arrests and taking cooking 101 the entire SEC would fall on its face. You might cling to your team in the SEC but at the end of the day everyone knows you are standing behind a corrupt organization.
I've never seen a place so beautiful like that...
I have
Incredible. I don't believe these student athletes really understand how good they have it...until they graduate.
Beautiful facility. I'm no fan, but I give Oregon credit for always being on the cutting edge when it comes the there football.
Can i go and just be the water boy?
+Christian bergsma I know right.
Hey, I know Randy Stegmeier!!! I remember when his family would come to visit in Ohio. It's cool to see him doing big things in Eugene.
As a parent of an UO student (architecture major), I have no problem with the football facilities. Oregon knows that it the sizzle that sells, not the steak. +picturesonradio Superficial? Just accept the fact that we make your NARP child proud to say he goes to a school funded by their football team
ThrowinBombs80 you mean funded by Nike cause you guys suck
One of my favorite colleges ever!!! I plan on playing for them in college
Well did you? Lol
“You do not build this place without plans of being the very best.” I couldn’t think of a better way of saying it.
I want to go to Oregon and play football and i play football for the beacon hill cowboys now. Oregon football players encourage me to get batter i love you OREGON !!!!!
The future is bright in Eugene!
Your username describes the Duck's Offense
Don't know how not, I live in Atlanta and this looks outstanding
Wow I wish I could use this facility Football is #LIFE
Amen
I've played at a high school facility that been really good but of course my cousins high school facility was better. I've seen Oregon's facilities on a early unofficial campus visit
If i was any good at football this would be the number one option to go to
not bama lol
All these people hating on this facility wishing they could go 😂
It is supposed to keep players here instead of getting in trouble they are here
Yeah Steve don't hate that is just amazing
Looks amazing!!
My grandpa was a coach for Duck Football. Bob Officer. You can look him up on the UofO hall of fame or the Bob Officer award that the head coach awards every year to a Duck. this locker room is so much better than any NFL locker room.
Is there a similar video for the University of Oregon's library?
This is AWSOME!!!!!!
WE'RE HAPPY FOR YAAAA!!
You must not have watched the whole video because he clearly said you do not build this place unless your planning on being the very best, Oregon has great trainers that teach the players how to get better I don't know what you're talking about.

Facilities don't win National championships.
*****
but players do and facilities like this attract those players
+Johanna Maizak and jobs of they had lockers like the schools have that are very small there would be no players
its all good now but just think about how difficult it will be to expand these architects dont think ahead
This year will be 5 straight BCS Bowl games for Oregon not to shabby :)
Not even close. I saw all of Nebraska's stuff. It looks really nice, more than any athlete would need. But Nebraska is new to this game. Nebraska's new stuff is just getting up to par with Oregon's "older" facilities. Take a look at Oregon's old locker room.

Just insane

whats up menn...did you done anything to your ride lately?
Except for the Fiesta Bowl Championship Trophy, The Rose Bowl Championship Trophy, The other Fiesta Bowl Championship Trophy, Multiple Conference Championship Trophy's etc. etc. etc.
The weight room is nice, but I think alabama, Georgia and Tennessee have a better one. Great facility though.
Let's go O! it's manifesting...
Beautiful
been there my uncle works for the football team
That Rich Owner At Nike Is A Oregon Grad....They Always Get Top Of The Line Clothing And State Of The Art Facilities
One word......WOW
where's the championship display room?
And people are wondering why college tuition prices are skyrocketing
That's amazing
0 national championships tho
not for long tho
Jack Leitzinger who cares.
You care, bitch.
Oregon Ducks Football/Basketball dude... 0-2 in 4 years you had your chance now usc is back Oregon ain’t winning anything for a long long time
Oregon did have a Heisman Trophy winner in 2014, Marcus Mariota.
Damn that's dope
Quit with the stupid comments on money. Phil Knight(Founder of Nike) donated the money to build this. He can do what he wants with his money.
DA HELL WITH NFL ILL SPEND 4 YEARS HERE
What's the song in the beginning
Did you find out the song
They may get more kids to stay 4 years. Going to the NFL would be a step down!
Bama facilities are better and they win championships also have 1st round draft pics plus 5 star recruiting
Oregon offers everything those programs can offer in terms of football opportunity, and them some.
except only one of those teams finished last in their division of the Pac-12, 4-8 teams can't win championships
J Romanowitz
How many Pac 12 teams have played for national championships the last 5 years.
Tina Pert ya, that's nice... but the best players want to play on the best teams, and right now Oregon is not in that category. They lost to Oregon State, and had embarrassing loses at Autzen. Why does the weight room have hardwood floors? Doesn't seem very logical haha
Doing deadlifts will ruin the hardwood floor.
imported from brazil. hardest wood in the world. they thought about it
In every gym they will have seperate mats for deadlifts/ hang clean. It really doesnt matter what material the actual floor is made of
They still have 0 national championships.
Check out the bama weightroom. One word... DAMN!
Are we just going to ignore 0:25??
Wow is right!
Ohio State fan but might consider Oregon just to be in those buildings... Wow!
So many comments hating just because they’re jealous Oregon gets special Nike treatment and their school doesn’t😂😂😂
swag overload
Huh? A gym shouldn't look like an advertisement for Ikea.
that is cool
Wtf was that sound at 0:25 😳
Damn!
Song?
What is the song?
Broooo That's fucking beats!!!
Not really fair because... Nike.
Nice!
Funny even with all of that they still have not won a NC.....
Has your team gone to a bcs bowl 4 times out of the last 5 years?
Jwin Gaming No but we have won 13 NC... Its great you won your consolation prize 4 out 5 years. I cant wait to see Oregon schedule great out of conference games instead of Nicolas state and the cupcakes they schdule. I honestly think your best days are behind you. Other teams haven't either like USA (University of Southern Alabama
ok, i am not making fun, or saying anything negative...
but seriously does the asian dude in the vest remind you of LLOYD FOR ENTOURAGE?!! i mean seriously, he is lloyd incarnate
I can't be the first guy on here who thought that was Lloyd from entourage
Holy
This will piss off the Huskies for sure!
didn't help against against the Bruins. 38 unanswered 41-21.
Architecture A++ Interior Design F
why do u guys bring up winning or who hae they beaten. why does that matter in a facility video. a lot of big time progams have nice facility.
but it cant hurt right?
This is why I'll never get to go there
Has Oregon ever won a national championship?
Nike?
A day late and a dollar short, as usual. Just like the Cubs.
How can you even talk about another teams facility after watching this video unless its "WOW my teams facility sucks"
Hey, buddy, you going to respond? The people are waiting.
Ehhh 2-2 in those games, and 0-1 in that Nat'l Title Game.
This is the reason why i don't engage in youtube comments, because the people commenting act SOO stupid, when in reality they will not say even half the shit they post on videos.
They have gone to far to the point they forget they are playing football. It doesn't take facilities like this to win. Ask Boise State.
When the Nike owner owns most of Oregon U.
damn at least spell losers right. and they're pretty damn good
Go oregon state! !!
Yet the trophy room is still empty
Win a championship though
Boooo roll tide
O-H
BOOMER SOONER
piss on Alabama
Follow the money. Oregon football = billionaire Phil Knight. They are one and the same.
money?
Have you ever done anything with your life?
they slackin' on basketball
me and my friend were talking would you rather be on a team know for a gang mentality and wins a lot of championships or be like Oregon have 20000000 jerseys have all this flash a zero championships I said I would take gang mentality over flash

+Raheem Randel But they have yet to win a championship.
Nebraska's is a tad bit better
This is why the starving children of the world will never be fed
what?
So instead of using that money to pay their poor athletes and their poor families, but instead build a sports facility with unneeded expensive excessories
"Pretty" Facilities don't mean anything unless you can win Championships Oregon. BTW Roll Tide
With pretty facilities, Oregon attracts more players to come to that school because it's so cool. And some players could be really good.
The facilities attract player the nicer they are the more players would come plus BOOMER SOONER
Good morning,Sir,watch more funny videos here
Whooooa....
