    So very beautiful Tim and Chance then adding in Austin and Robs high sounds of oooh, oooh. Top it off with Adam's soft Nomonica in the back ground . Loved Maggie's soft beautiful guitar playing. Thanks for sharing with us. 🦋🎶🦋

    Oh that was pretty. Loved everything with Tim and Chance singing. Loved that harmonica Adam did, Austin’s instrument (forget what you call that) and of course Maggie Baugh with the beautiful guitar. Sounded so good live! Thank you for this!

    Honestly, I'm a little disappointed--after a very long time I'm finally going to be able to see the guys in concert (in just 10 days, as a matter of fact), but one of my favorite things about going to any concert is knowing the songs being sung and with the start of this "new" tour/album I'm not going to have a chance to learn the music before we go 😟. Still, I am excited to hear them in person!!!

      @Marsha C ohhhh they still play a lot of their fan faves! I was expecting the same but the show was incredible! We enjoyed this show even more than the Utah show and that was great! Just wait & see....let us know what you thought after the show!

      I think this and one other original were the only two songs I heard last night that don't have videos. Among others (and if I remember right), they did "Ring of Fire", "Elvira", "Try Everything", "Folsom Prison Blues", "Everybody Walkin' This Land", "Ain't Goin' Down" and, of course, "From Here to the Moon and Back" with Maggie Baugh. Maggie was a crackup and sounded great. I had my teenagers with me and they were laughing, cheering and singing along too. You'll have a great time.

    • @RefriedHomeFries
      @RefriedHomeFries  2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      @Kyle Frandsen they did Sea Shanty as well...it was a great show for sure and Maggie is a crack up fitting right in with the guys! 👍

      They only had a couple songs off the new album. Most of the concert is songs and mash ups stuff we have heard them do.

    Instruments now and then are fine. Pentatonix has a few, including Radioactive with Lindsay Stirling. Talent shouldn't be rigid.

    That doesn't really work for me I'm afraid. Maybe l am a purist and should take Tim's advice! I don't like the set, the looper or the instruments... My love for them is deep, which honestly is a good thing right now...

    • @RefriedHomeFries
      @RefriedHomeFries  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @grievousangel7 maybe it may be best if Dawg responds because of his background but what I am confused about is the 'looper' as they always use them in shows. There is only a guitar as an instrument too....aside from that, you are you and if you don't like something you have the right not to 😉 I don't like every single thing they do, nor any other of my favorite bands throughout my life...it's life and we are human...thanks for the feedback 😉

    • @grievousangel7742
      @grievousangel7742 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@RefriedHomeFries l just dislike the looper on principle! One of the great things about loving a band is going through these phases with them l think. As they grow and change, we grow with them. Doesn't mean l don't love them! Looking forward to the album to see their new direction. Hoping for fewer ballads, l have to admit.

    • @RefriedHomeFries
      @RefriedHomeFries  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @grievousangel7 🤣 Dawg & I had this conversation earlier about the ballads and are not big fans either ...never have been with anyone! You are right though, true fans will still respect, love & stand behind them! You are awesome! 🤗

    . I must confess to a little disappointment: after two humdingers, we're back to Country Music 101, and Tim with his "Country" voice on. I wish whoever keeps suggesting these corny ballads would stop! The arrangement's pretty but there's not much in the basic song to excite the ear. Couldn't hear Adam most of the time because the guitar was too loud - could be a sound balance issue, I'll try the song again later with headphones to see if it has hidden depths which I'm not hearing.

    • @RefriedHomeFries
      @RefriedHomeFries  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @Patimac54 Wolf....Paul is going to explain it to you in depth when he isn't driving but wait to decide if you like it after you listen to the recorded version 😉

      If you listen again and think of Dixie as the nickname for the US South, rather than a woman's name, I hope it might click for you.

    • @lindanearing4710
      @lindanearing4710 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Instruments ruin the sound of their voices.

    • @lrfcowper
      @lrfcowper 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      No one suggested it. Tim wrote it. It's about his feelings towards the South. If people pay attention to the lyrics, I expect it may attract some controversy, especially as the title track of the album. Of course, many people don't actually *listen*, they only hear, and think "typical corny country ballad" when it's anything but.
