jane danson is an amazing actress and has some amazing storylines and is playing them amazingly. And alex bain is also playing this and the ongoing storyline of his dad's alcoholism/illness is amazing :)

Simon has a father who has been killing himself with booze, and Leanne who was in such a mess that he turned to drug dealing to bring in money. And this leads to Natasha's death...And now Leanne is whining about being a mother to Sam. Simon was in an impossible situation because Leanne is so self absorbed.
That’s it Simon.I didn’t want to do this but I’m taking away those character development points that I gave you😢. But maybe if you behave and get through this, then I’ll give them back😀
As if Simon needs that kind of money .. for what, he has a free home .. free bills, and a job, as if this is the only way he can get money. And he is so self righteous towards his Dad and Mam, but no problem taking and selling drugs and uncaring of his Mother's grieving.
Yep Simon acts all morally superior to Peter and Leanne , from when he first came on the show up till now , they were doing the right thing, Peter with his flaws, inculding setting something on fire and almost killing him., womazning and drinking. Leanne raising him right, but he behind their backs turned on them, I think he's like his mom Shelly
