Well done for getting 94XX running again - loved the "Only Fools & Horse´s" reference to the broom story ! Know how that feels getting some of these old loco´s running again. Keep up the good work. mm93
Hi Gareth, difficult to pin anything down just from that. Is the sparking coming from the wheels or the motor? Either way, the motor (armature) seems to be under stress. Perhaps lubrication of bearings and wheel axles (light oil), cleaning track and wheels, checking alignment of wheels (quartering) are steps I'd try first. Can't be more specific at moment. Hope that helps. Cheers,Jim L
Nice video Jim Like the clothes peg idea, It's always amazed me how you seem to have a large selection of spare parts, do you buy a lot of scrap locomotives .
Hi Martin, thanks again. I usually get most of my locos second hand , so I do end up with a lot of locos beyond repair. Occasionally, I accumulate enough bits to build a complete loco.

Always good videos great stuff
Hi John, thanks for your comments and for looking in.
So I have one of these, when I apply power it just sparks and won't move. Any Ideas what it could be ? Everything seems to be in order.
