This reminded me of me. We have 2 lives and we get the second one when we realize we only have one life.
When I hear this song, it reminds me of my grandfather, he was a big part of my life… he was always visiting as I was growing up, we watched westerns together, they were his favorite. Whenever I was feeling down he was there to cheer me up, and he would tell me “Jesus Loves you”
As an adult he would call me everyday, like 10 times a day, it has almost been 1 year since he has been gone, and I miss him so much, I miss his calls, his voice

I lost my father this New Year's Eve, and when I listened to this beat my emotions spilled out all at once through tears, my heart exploded and sentences went through my mind that I couldn't not write down. I wrote a song in Italian for my father and extended the base by adding the refrain.
