I've had one nothing but trouble. I upgraded to a Red Label drum and had also had issues with two high pressure pumps failing and then the screen coming loose getting jammed and burning out the drive motor and electrics I returned the unit that cost over £2000. I've now gone back to a Nexus as I had one 6 years with not one problem. If you run a Nexus with the auto and K1 micro media there as good as a drum. Fines are good and it's zero maintanence and very little to go wrong.
It has crossed my mind of changing to a Nexus, that was my original choice until I found the AEM drum at the same price. I do like the drum when it works but when there are problems, it is a pain …. Thanks for the comment
Having some problems with that drum shouldn't they be fixing that for you how old is drum and what was the cost? Lot of money but you've had some problems why is their no switch to turn uv off can you not get in touch direct with manufacturer to complain?. Think I will stick to my nexus not much to go wrong
Hello Barry, it is the manufacturer I'm in contact with, that's part of the problem as they're in Holland (AEM). It's a shame really as when it works it's fantastic and virtually no maintenance. I've had it for about 18 months now, it cost just under a grand. I'll get there..... , have a great Christmas.
