I use the Tethrd One Stick to....... One Stick climb. I have a 11.5 boot and wear LacCrosse Alpha Snake boots. I heard complaints about toes being an issue. I can say that on the trees I climb here in Georgia, I have not run into space issues. The One stick is EXTREMELY light. However, you tend to have to spray foam insulation to quiet the Aluminum tubing. This really is a Ford / Chevy conversation. Try them out (Ask Friends) and see which one is for you. Learn to 1 stick and your investment is MUCH cheaper! ;)
Good comparison. I have the full size beast sticks and couldn't be happier with them. I added a monarch platform to my top stick for short hunts and a 22" cable aider to bottom stick, which gets me 14-15' if I want to roll with just 3 sticks..
I have used the ONE sticks. I love them to death except for foot clearance. They put so much thought into every part glow tabs, rope attachement, stacking, weight etc. But yes you can feel that bump on the end that does not bother me at all, what does bother me is trying to climb with just my TOES. I would have bought two sets already if they had any foot clearance at all. Wish they would come out with another standoff option for better foot clearance.
David I agree with the everything u have said. I personally think it’s just the design of the step/standoff, as u know it angles in towards the center post closer to the tree and maybe because my mucks are a size bigger for room and thicker socks during the really cold weather maybe causing an issue also.
Thanks for the comparisons Mark. I mostly put bolts in presets and climb SRT where I can’t use bolts. I have a nice set of sticks I made but I still find dealing with sticks to be cumbersome to carry and to deal with. No easy solutions to getting into a tree. But I’m always looking. A couple good sticks with a good aider system isn’t a bad way to go. So many options. Have you tried one sticking?
very in depth video! I have been holding off on the tether sticks in hopes that they level off the end of the step and raise the stand off to be flush with the step itself. If they do that plus add an 1/2 inch of clearance from the tree it will make for an unbeatable stick and probably wouldn't add any additional weight. Does anyone one know if tether plans to do this? As far as quality and build, you also can't beat a beast stick; they just don't pack that well.
Hey Luke just took the rope mods off my full-size beast sticks, they are about 8 1/2 + feet long. I did a video on making them awhile ago and I did a separate video on cleaning up the end where I put the elastic cord.
2 tethrd sticks equals weight of 1 beast stick! Thanks , all I needed to know!

If you bought the mini beast sticks with the holes drilled for wgt reduction what would that weight difference be? Great video and comparison!
I believe it’s .3 oz more without holes

agree, I tried the one-sticks and the first thing I noticed that I didn't like was that protrusion on the step end but love the weight.

Would you sell a set?
Can’t without adding weight
I would like weight of Beast stick without strap I would replace it. Great video
The beast minis are hard to beat. They dig in better than anything I've ever used and they're tuff as hell
Yes they are incredible sticks
Too heavy

Mark, thanks for the comparison.
Do you usually hunt/climb with 3 sticks?
If so what aider system are you running and average height you hunt from?
Is there a noticeable weight difference u can feel between the 2 sticks? I know the beasts are a little heavier but how do they feel in hand
Chris I would say yes, the beast stick does feel heavier in the hand. The One sticks are so light.
Yes 2 tethrd sticks are lighter than 1 beast stick
What is that rope mod on mini

My mini sticks will be here monday along with my stealth strips, im pumped.
Ur going to do enjoy them, so solid.
@@MarksWorld-GetOutdoors Now time to decide on the hard part, a stand or a saddle😂
What glow tape did you use on your sticks?
They come standard on tethrd sticks
awesome video sir
Beast stick may be heavier but you won't die using it from the step blowing apart.
I never worry going up or down the tree with my Beast Sticks.
Lma😂 blowing a stick apart ! Smh dumb af
Good video
Glad you enjoyed
Have both the beast sticks are far better, and actually built by a hunter!
Would you sell your tethrd sticks
the right channel on your mic is extremely weak
Who’ on earth is stupid enough to pay these prices?
I guess that would be me . But I get to do a video on them
Googans do
What did you use as for the glow tabs on the beast sticks ?
