Teacher Proud Tuesday - October 2024

In this video, you'll meet Mrs. Shelly Holt, kindergarten teacher at McCulloch Elementary, and an entire family who has been in her class! Paden Stringer and all three of his daughters have had Mrs. Holt as their teacher. The Stringer family shares their appreciation for Mrs. Holt, and she explains her inspiration for a 31-year career in education.
The Republic School District Participates in Teacher Proud Tuesday through a partnership with the Greater Ozarks Cooperating School Districts.
The purpose of the Teacher Proud Tuesday campaign is to lift up and celebrate the profession and those currently serving, to recruit and inspire candidates to consider teaching, and to inform communities, business leaders and policymakers on the importance of public education.
