DP for Dummies - Alongship Force Control

If a pipelaying vessel start to oscillate the Dynamic Positioning Operator (DPO) can use a so called “Alongship Force Control” to stabilize the vessel. This works quite well. But the tricky part is to go out of this mode, without making the vessel instable again. This is not mentioned in any operator’s manual.
Therefore, this movie explains how it’s done.
