Glad you found my stuff useful! Btw you in particular may be interested in the fact I'm running live streams every day from 8th-21st May, will be promoting them soon. But I tend to find external candidates get the most out of them by being able to directly ask questions of an experienced classroom teacher. You can access them even by being on the lowest patreon tier (£2) just cancel after P3.
@@PsychBoost will do, I’ve been subscribed to the Patreon for a while now, the worksheets and mini quizzes are great! thank you again for everything you do :)
a very good example of NSI and ISI being hard to distinguish as a reason for conformity is the covid[19 pandemic. poeple may have engaged in quarantine because they genuinly beleived that the virus was deadly (ISI), and because they did not want to be judged as selfish if they got caught outside (NSI). - particularly relevant to celebriies as many got cancelled for outside activities.
Cheers, its been a long process, after this set I will have made every topic on A level psychology.... twice! Hoping to get these finished with a few weeks to the exams to go.
Taking part in social media trend is one eksempel of this. But not taking part in social media is also a trend and a way to make sure no one will laungh at you.
In my AQA textbook, it says 123 American men were tested in groups of 6-8. Would I need to say groups of 8-10 male college students instead? and is the baseline procedure equivalent to the aim, study method etc used for GCSE? sorry, I am doing home learning and I am receiving no support.
Hi, I would put 123 male American college students instead. This is because aqa are marking your test, so therefore their textbook matches their mark scheme. Also, specifying their country and age is good as you can evaluate it (cannot generalise to the wider population).
Cheers Vicky 👍 It's my aim to have them all out with at least a week to go before the exam, I'm working on the Zimbardo video right now, likely it will be out before the end of the weekend. I'm trying not to sacrifice quality by rushing them of course, as they will be up for students for years to come. Good luck with your revision!
Hi Nick, First off, would like to thank you for your content - on behalf of many A levels students, it’s fantastic having such a great resource be so accessible, you’ve really helped me over the past 2 years. I don’t mean to leave this comment with any negativity, but I mainly wanted to say I’m concerned by the use of AI art in this video. AI art is harmful for many reasons such as unethical data collection and use, or how it discourages people from using and employing actual artists. Your videos must take a lot of time and effort, and I don’t say this to be critical, but as an educator and someone with an audience of impressionable teens, the precedent set by you using AI generated images could be harmful and give people (especially young people) the idea that using these sorts of tools is okay. I say this not in a way to attack you or your content, but please stop using AI in your videos. For the images used in this video, stock images and royalty free art already exists that could be used just as effectively - AI isn’t necessary. Again, I really do thank you for your content, it must be hard putting together high quality videos that are educational and to such a high standard on top of being a teacher. But the use of unethical tools isn’t necessary, and you as someone with such an important platform can help discourage this and keep content human. (sorry for the long message!)
@@PsychBoost Ok that's fine, I was just asking since I have my exams coming up soon (year 13 end of year exams btw) and I was struggling to remember some of the content but I should be fine if I just do some practice 16 markers since that works really well for me. Thanks for everything you do, I don't know if I would be sitting at a close to A* grade if it wasn't for your videos :)
I just felt I could do it better. I've been teaching A-level psych for 8 years now, and when I made the original, I was only in my second year. Also, loads of past papers since the original have given a better indication of what AQA is looking for.

Hello, if the question is asking discuss research, do we have to add all of Asch's variations?
Do these 5 videos on social influence cover the whole topic in enough detail?

don't need to villanize a useful tool. Times are changing and you have to too.
its just not that deep is it
Brother he is not going to employ an artist for a revision video
Will you be remaking your relationships (paper 3 option) videos?
Likely next year, I've rewatched them recently, and they hold up. I likely will be totally burnt out by the time I finish the SI unit NGL.

why is there a remake of it? did AQA add more stuff to the spec? genuine question
