Thanks for the detailed video, my audio recording was also choppy when human tracking was enabled... I was all ready to take it to the service center thinking it was a faulty cam. But your video 9:14 proved it's a design flaw.
Ideally the sound shoud record even if the lens moves. Tapo cams record even when human tracking is enabled

In your experiment it appears that pro version has delay unless device is connected to 5g. That means that 2k is as good at 2.4 g as the newer one on 5g.
I think Xiaomi has to incorporate 5G into the 2K Pro because of that lag while using 2.4G. 5G as 'added feature' is just a cover to compensate the deficiency while using 2.4G. That's only my preceptiion. Please subscribe . Thanks.
1. In case of power interruptions, can i connect the usb cable to a power bank for continuous recording?
2. If the provided usb cable is short, can i replaced it with a 10 mtr long usb cable w/o any issue?
Yes. You can use a power bank. In fact, one of my Xiaomi camera is plug into an AC outlet with a USB port.
The longest USB power cable for camera i've known, without any issue, is 20-feet. The one use by Eufy in their magnetic camera. For Xiaomi cam, i haven't tried. Thanks

2.Tplink tapo c225 .The tplink camera is quite an upgrade from the previous version and I can't decide which one to get.

Nope. This is a Wifi device. The wireless outdoor receiver is using other wireless connection to link with the outdoor camera.

No. It has no battery. It is directly powered by a power adapter.

If i setup the camera and leave home for 2 months, and in the meantime wifi loses connection for some time due the power interruption or something, will the camera activate automatically or do you have to be next to the camera to activate it again?
Per experience, it will just reconnect to the wifi router and to the net automatically.

Nope. I haven't experience that. Where is that sound coming from-- the speaker of the camera or on your phone?

Yes. Para lang brownout. Babalik rin connection nya sa dati basta consistent lang yong internet signal.

You can access your camera at home from anywhere on your phone via Mi Home app and on Xiaomi Viewer app for Windows PC.

Supposedly, makikita yong camera sa Mi Home app kahit saan ka as long as you can connect to the server. Kung may error, baka mahina lang internet connection mo.

That's weird. Kung may access ka sa camera using the same app while at home, dapat may access ka rin sa labas using the same app.

How many days po bago mapuno yun Sdcard nyo? Tapos yung video na nasave ba sa Sdcard po full 24h po ba or detections lang din?
As shown in the video, recording is continuous (1-minute each clip) for 24/7 on a 32GB SD card up to 7 days. Detections are also recorded on the cloud for 7 days.

What happen i put 64gb mmc? Will it limit to 32gb or it just wont detect?
Others have tried 64GB on it and it works. I have not tried it.

Sorry, I'm not familiar with that Xiaomi model numbers. Maybe there's a simpler code for it like '2K Pro'. For Eufy, it's more expensive than Xiaomis but their specs are the same. Please subscribe. Thanks
