    Question raised: When can you get a sample & bring it back to Earth? Answer "Think you can get it on Amazon :-D." Well played.. In truth a revisit to Venus is long overdue. Will say life found on earth in extreme environments like Antarctica & and surrounding deep sea geothermal vents in the ocean indicates such could be possible..

    Y’all have to think that other life is probably completely different from humans they could probably live on extreme temperatures and probably breathe a different air and you also have to remember earth had the perfect conditions for its kind of life but other planets could have the perfect conditions for the planets type of life
    Edit: Other life are probably thinking if there was life on earth it would need the conditions of life that they are used to

    • @ammo1317

      They touch on this in the podcast. We only have Earth to look at for life, and we know life exists here. Life elsewhere could be similar to us as we have evidence of us, but it could be completely different. Hence they talk about life as we know it needing water, but could life use ammonia, or something else.

      How is it more sustainable? You can't mine on venus.

    • @caonabo2
      @caonabo2 4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@makisekurisu4674 Of course you can mine Venus, with the right equipment. Remember that Venus's atmosphere imprimes a force 90 times that of Earth's atmosphere. Do you know how many atmospheres are in the Marianas Trench? It is the equivalent of 1,000 atmospheres. We have submarines that have reached thst deep, did some exploration and came back up with the crew safe. Heath on Venus's surface? A mere 650 degrees C! We have developed machined thar go into volcanos that withstand thousands od degrees. Plus the dense atmosphere on Venus will help keep livivg quartes afloat really easy and provide a trove of gsses and nutrients that will make even agriculture sustainable and feasebly plus protect humans from radiation.
      You want to see Venus colonizad in a jiff? Just tell the US government about China's supossed colonizing plans for Venus. In ten years we would have a large floating city there😎
      So, open your mind, Venus will be faster and more sustainable than Mars to be colonized.
      Now, why colonize Mars, Venus, our Moon, Titan, Europa, Ceres, Triton or Enceladus? That's part of being human, and we want humanity to be everywhere.

    Hey, thanks to not only you, but all of you.. I’ve been watching you for only about a week, as a dropout it was difficult, teachers telling you different when you know it’s right. Particularly math.
    I’ve been on some tech stuff, managed to find I read the AMD / Nvidia leaks, did the math and knew months before others on the current release. I’ve posted on reddit, everyone disagreed and I ended up nailing it..
    You’ll see me soon.
    I like what you just said about the “verification” process... I litterally had this happen on reddit and than gained followers afterwards.. :s

    So Neil I was wondering if it’s possible if phosphine could be created by a asteroid. Impacting Venus and carrying that chemical to the surface of the planet? Or maybe it breaking up into the atmosphere too. What is your take on this? Would love to hear a reply back love watching and listening to your huge fan Neil ( I’m also a veteran and was happy to fight for people like Neil to make are lives better).

      Very unlikely. This is of such quantities and in such extreme climates that, if life, it had to develop for thousands if not millions if not billions of years.
      Earthly microbial life is that: earthly.
