Extremely amazingly well done, it is like the anniversary but on the original, Voice actors MAJORYLY SPOT ON. and with this this dub is now over, Though i know there is one more part left, something that is part of these Dubs. Now we wait for the Bloopers. Keep doing amazing.
If Ocarina of Time gets a Triple A remake by keeping everything like the story, characters, gameplay, music and adding voice acting like this one, it’ll be amazing❤❤❤
Guys, this is absolutely phenomenal, but I'm afraid you were so deeply engaged in this project that you may have missed something of profoundest import. You see, I am increasingly convinced that the person you hired to voice Ganondorf... is Ganondorf himself. Please check your records for all our sakes. I'd hate to know you had him confined to a recording studio at one point, only to hand him a check, offer him a tip of the hat, and unleash him unwittingly upon a world ripe for conquest. But seriously, fantastic work! A worthy tribute to a cultural masterpiece!
The 3rd and final part is up already. Man, watching all these videos feels like time has passed. And have to say watching this dub of the 64 Nintendo version was really something special and have that nostalgic feel.
Sorry that this took so long, but I am glad and impressed that you guys managed to create a wonderful conclusion to your Ocarina Of Time 64 project 😁. Much like your previous project that touched on the game, you guys gave your all in executing the performance for this narrative, especially in it's ending. Hats off to the editing team as usual, and for knowing which parts needed to remain and do away with in order to contrast this project from the aforementioned past one 👍. Something that I should've mentioned in the previous parts, but I loved how the sound team filtered the added music into this project in order to have it match with the audio of the 64 game. That was an ingenious editing decision on your part 😉. And it further helps differentiate it from the other OOT dub. I also like how certain dialogue that was featured in the 3DS remake from your past dub still remain in the script for this dub too, despite most of said dialogue having been added for the remake. Most of this dialogue is obviously with Navi, so its alwags a pleasure getting to hear more from MirmirVA's performance 😊. Interesting how besides Ganon's Castle (which makes narrative sense), you guys chose to prolong Link's venture through the Spirit Temple. Granted, it doesn't ruin the pacing of this project, nor do I have any reservations over it, lol. Given the conflict with Twinrova, this does make sense in a way. Each voice actor, both returning and new, gave their all into this final part, as well as with the overall project. I could honestly detect the slightest hint of extra oomph put into everybody's performances, especially from the old cast. Chokkocat deserves my overall respect for the many roles she took up in this dub. She has such incredible range, and a creative sense of direction with how she differentiates each of her characters 😁. Minh Toh is definitely the standout voice actress for me in this project. She's earnestly my new favorite voice for Sheik and I'm glad she had the opportunity to be a part of this dub 🥰. She's just great! Oh, and shoutout to John Doyle's minor role as Ichiro too, he did a fine job with the character. Before I go into the main cast of this story and final part, I need to give my compliments to Elsie Lovelock's reprisal as Nabooru in this project. I always enjoyed her take of the character 😊. And despite her simply reiterating what she did from the previous OOT dub, to me, it felt like she manged to have more comfort and confidence in voicing the character. It's subtle, but it shows the growth she had from her experience playing Nabooru in the aforementioned previous dub. Now then, first things first, David J. G. Doyle reprising his role as Ganondorf - phenomenal as ever 😆. His performance as the King Of Thieves maintained that same menace and darkness he had from the previous project, but there were some new vocal decisions he made for some of his lines that I liked. This just showcases how good of a voice actor he is. MirmirVA did a fantastic job redoing her role as Navi, making me feel even more endeared to the character, as well as with her partnership/ friendship with Link 😁. And of course, Hayley Nelson and Lonnie Maynard did a superb job re-providing the grunts and sound effects for the Hero Of Time's child and adult selfs respectively, lol. Happy that the two came back to reprise these roles and then some. Out of all of them though, I've got to give it to LadyStardust's reprisal as Adult Princess Zelda ☺️. She managed to not only redo what she did from the previous dub, but also give a completely different performance compared to the last time she did the role. Not to say that there was a complete difference in how she voiced the character in both dubs, but there are indeed some differences between the two. In your past OOT project, Stardust played Zelda as being a bit more composed and wisened. Whatever sentiment and emotion there was to the character layed behind her words. Meanwhile in this project, there was a push to have those aspects expressed more outwardly instead of being hinted at with the Princess. You could clearly hear how she felt in each of her lines. I love how this presented a new take on this incarnation of Zelda from the same voice actress, helping in making her performances in both projects feel distinct from one another. So much applause to Stardust on her voice acting skills in this video 👏. All in all, this was another fun experience down a familiar story, but in the manner in which it was originally told. And as I've stated before, compliments to you guys for not only reiterating the dubwork, but for also givng a new spin on the details, both in the voice acting and in the editing. Spectacular job as ever 😉. You definitely honored the original 64 game of this renowned Zelda story. Can't wait to see what you guys do next 😊.
@@ZeldaUniverseTV No problem 😊. You guys definitely deserve the praise given all the work you put into this and each of your other projects 😁. And I believe everyone contributed a great deal to this dub; including the voice actors, editors, and sound team. Can't wait to see what you guys have in store for the future 😊!
To actually have the Ocarinal of Time Finale on my birthday (December 8th) is surely one amazing birthday gift out of nowhere. Thank you Zelda Universe for this wonderful and talented performance.
Bravo to Zelda Universe. This certainly was a treat. Alot of work went into this and well done to voice actors old AND new. My overall thoughts: I’ve now watched this and the original OOT Dub. The new actors did well with their roles and gave a fresh take on ironically the older version of OOT. Some hot takes is that i did miss the temple montages from the original instead of going right into the boss fight. Its also a shame only one of Majorlink’s cutscenes made it to this version. I also notice less non-dialogue lines. Overall dubbing made this version closely akin to a modern Zelda game experience while the original was more theatrical like a movie. If you’re the type that wants a N64 nastolgia trip definitely watch this version. If you want a movie-like dub watch ZU’s original OOT dub. Anyways THANK YOU ZU for everything. Looking forward to the next project.
Extremely Spectacularly Well Done! This looks like the Anniversary, but on the OG Video, the Voice Actors and Actresses all did Fantastic and Stupendous! All of the Voices Actors and Actresses did a Incredible and Remarkable Job on *The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time* Dub Videos this year! I Absolutely Love this! I also Absolutely Love seeing Sheik and Ganondorf in this Video! I Absolutely Love, Cherish, Respect and Appreciate Sheik as her OWN Personal Character. Sheik would been like, a Loyal Childhood Best Friend, Partner in Crime and Comrade to Link and Zelda. I also think she could've been a Awesome Ninja of the Sheikah Tribe and a Remarkable Student to Impa. Sheik could've Super Popular of *The Legend of Zelda* franchises throughout the years.
I hope you guys do Majora’s Mask if you haven’t done it yet. I hope you guys also do Windwaker, Twilight Princess and both Hyrule Warriors games since they actually have spoken Dialogue between them. I would love to see Hyrule Warriors a bit more than the other ones I listed because it is my favourite spin-off Zelda game. Keep up the great work
She already did Windwaker twice, Hyrule warriors twice, I don't mind Twilight Princess again, but Tears of the Kingdom needs to be here cause we don't have that yet. Oh almost forgot and that prequel Breath of the Wild game as well.
My slow brain hasn't connected until now that "around and around" is meant to be lyrics to the song of storms 😮😮Holy shit, so the windmill guy was about to create the song of storms by himself without Link
And yes, I know the music of Lon Lon Ranch is a play on American cowboy/western but still. idk, my brain always just defaulted her to European because of the aesthetic of the game overall being castles and such.
This was such a nostalgia trip watching these, thank you for doing these dubs again! 😊☺️ Thinking about revisiting N64 OoT and MM again at some point on my own.
That was good I liked it but too much skipping and the previous version was better. I think you should do Twilight Princess again and especially do Tears of the Kingdom cause when I saw your trailer of it from your Breath of the Wild I was looking forward to it I hope your working on that I really do love your Zelda videos a lot. Oh and the Breath of the Wild prequel game it's a different Hyrule warriors game called Age of Calamity that one isn't on your channel yet either.
Okay, I’m going to try one last time to post the journal on TH-cam. If it still doesn’t work, then I’ll just take it as a sign to move my works to Tumblr permanently. EDIT: This has to be the stupidest set of hoops I’ve ever had to jump through for these journals. I’ll see if I can get the earlier entries in the previous parts.
*Sheik’s Codex: The Day of his return* Having watched over him for seven years, I was honestly shocked when the shining blue crystal imprisoning him suddenly shattered to reveal a young man holding the sacred blade instead of the boy who was sent into the temple. I immediately recognized the princess’s first mistake regarding him, but I found myself lacking the heart to tell him. Did no one tell him his true heritage? What was the Deku Tree thinking‽ Soon after his awakening, the young man noticed my presence in the chamber and, understandably, turned his blade on me. After introductions were made (Oddly enough, he simply called himself “Link.” A pseudonym, perhaps?), I asked exactly how aware he was of what had occurred outside of his prison. He seems to only know the basics of what’s happened, likely through a meeting with the Sage of Light: Ganondorf’s invasion of the Sacred Realm, the other five Sages needing to be found, and him having physically grown during his imprisonment. I offered to escort “Link” through the ruins separating the Temple of Time from the rest of the world, and he accepted albeit hesitantly. It seems that the true horror of what he’s missed only hit when we stepped out of the Temple and overlooked the ruins. The Hero himself simply stood in shock, but I guess his fairy is there to voice such thoughts in his stead in those cases. As we entered what they likely remember as the bustling marketplace of Hyrule Castle, I urged Link and his fairy to not speak and to move quietly, as all that walks this ground is the shambling dead. I think I heard him vomit from the stench of rotting flesh that permeates the land now. I’d forgotten about that smell until the fairy brought it up when we finally made our way to Hyrule Field. Once we made our way to the gates of Kakariko, I told Link to find the Gravekeeper, then meet me in the Sacred Meadow within the Lost Woods. Both he and his fairy looked quite surprised that I would even know of the place. In truth, I wouldn’t have known if not for my connections through Impa, but they don’t need to know that. That said, I expected them to arrive here before me, but I got here a while ago and have yet to see even a trace of either of them. It’s gotten to the point where I now have to hide myself away to keep out of sight of roving Moblins. If they don’t get here soon, I fear they may overwhelm me. I just hope they didn’t get distracted with the Kokiri village. I don’t know what I’d do if he had to learn the truth that way… Night had begun to fall by the time they finally arrived, though I barely even noticed his approach. He looked around the meadow in what I can only describe as melancholic nostalgia. I’d only planned on teaching Link the Minuet of Forest, but seeing that look in his eyes, I felt compelled to give him some form of comfort, try to tell him that this was unavoidable, that it wasn’t his fault. I don’t know if it helped, as I couldn’t bear to look him in the eye, knowing whose fault it truly was. All the same, I did teach him the song, and watched as he pulled out Dampé’s treasured Hookshot and pulled himself into the Forest Temple. Now all that remains is to keep any reinforcements from entering to assist Ganon’s occupying forces. Showtime.
*Sheik’s Codex: 1 Day since his return* After multiple hours of guarding the entrance to the Forest Temple (a much quieter task than I’d anticipated), a great flash of bright green light burst forth from the building, reducing the patrolling Moblins to dust. He must have cleared out the corruption and awakened Saria as the Forest Sage. No doubt he’s learned the truth by now… I’ll return to the Temple of Time for now, maybe tell him my theory on how the Pedestal of Time works. Maybe it’ll be some respite for him. When Link returned to the Temple of Time, I couldn’t help noticing trails of salt on his cheeks. If I’m right, that means the Deku Tree has begun sprouting, and delivered the news in the most blunt manner possible. I can only pray this won’t dissuade him from the cause, but I can’t blame him if he did give up here. I don’t want to imagine what might be going through his mind right now. After teaching him the Prelude of Light, to ensure he won’t have to brave undead hordes just to return to the Temple of Time, Link and I began to discuss the next course of action. He suggested that he return to Goron City, stating that he wanted to make sure there weren’t any dodongos roving the city. Somehow, I get the impression that he simply wanted to see someone who would recognize him after a likely traumatizing homecoming. Thus, I agreed with the course of action, clearing out a path to the Fire Temple within the summit of Death Mountain. This time, Link arrived much sooner after I did, and I’m glad he did. The heat in Death Mountain’s volcanic crater was getting to be too much for me to bear, meanwhile he’d come in wearing a familiarly designed tunic of Goron make. Methinks Ordo of the Gorons gave it to his hero to help Darunia slay the revived dragon. With that in mind, I taught Link the Bolero of Fire, should he ever feel the need to return here with more heat-resistant equipment. I doubt any of Ganon’s forces will try to enter the fiery pits of Death Mountain, so I told the Hero of the Gorons to meet me at Zora’s Domain once he was finished slaying the beast. If nothing else, it should help him cool off from the heat of battle.
*Sheik’s Codex: 2 Days since his return* It’s finally happened. After seven years of staving off the ice that blocked off Lake Hylia from Zora's Fountain, it’s finally spread across the entirety of Zora’s Domain. Thankfully, the freeze has yet to overtake the Fountain entirely, though icebergs are starting to form in the water. Some of those icebergs look to be spinning in eddies in the fountain, no doubt Ruto’s work. The Zora princess took quite well to the idea of being the Sage of Water, especially compared to Darunia’s refusal to hear anything of his status as the Fire Sage. She’s been quite eager to prove herself for the past few years, though her enthusiasm does tend to lead her into more pitfalls than she’d want to admit. Ruto’s sense of pride also hinders her from seeking help when she clearly needs it, such as this case here. I’ve told Ruto numerous times that I’d be there if she needs any assistance with her sagely duties, but she refuses to confide in me. I suppose she’s trying to follow Link’s example in that regard. She’s been absolutely enamored with him ever since they first met, claiming it to be “love at first sight.” I get the distinct impression that those feelings are one-sided, given Link’s condition on awakening from his seven-year slumber. Naturally, I found Ruto half-frozen in a cavern beside the Fountain. While I warmed her up with some magic, I told the Zora princess about Link’s awakening, figuring it best to let her process the information before their impending reunion. She perked up immediately, loudly asking why I hadn’t told her sooner, with her volume unintentionally answering her own question. I did my best to curb Ruto’s lovestruck enthusiasm, letting her know that, from Link’s viewpoint, it’s likely been only a couple of days since she gave him Zora’s Sapphire. That was before I made the mistake of mentioning the fact that we’ve both been busy liberating the temples from Ganondorf’s influence. The moment I brought that up, Ruto excitedly came up with a hare-brained scheme to impress Link by retaking the Water Temple herself, and ran off before I could even begin to tell her how bad of an idea that was. It wasn’t long after Ruto left that Link found his way into the same icy cavern. I knew his best chance of getting to the Water Temple before Ruto got herself killed would be to simply transport himself there with the Serenade of Water, so I hastily taught him the song and gave him the basic gist of Ruto’s circumstances (leaving out her motive for going there by herself). As usual, Link didn’t hesitate to rush off into what most would consider certain doom. I must admit that I question how it is that Link is able to continue his quest without collapsing. That’s not to say I’m questioning his strength, or his character for that matter, but with everything he must’ve seen and gone through here, I’ve little doubt he has almost nothing here now. I’ve essentially given Link an out for the mission, and he seems to have every motive for taking that out, yet still he fights on in this time. What could possibly be driving him to continue on well beyond the point where most would simply give up and leave? It doesn’t seem to make any sense to me, unless… Could it be…?
*Sheik’s Codex: 3 Days since his return* Having rendezvoused with Link at Lake Hylia, there’s no doubt in my mind. It makes so much sense, now that I’ve seen it myself. The third piece has been missing all these years, that being my initial reason for surveying the ruined lands of Hyrule. In all the years of searching, the third piece has eluded both me _and_ Ganondorf. If it was with Link all along then it explains both its disappearance and his unshaken resolve all at once. I have to tell Impa about this, perhaps this could be the key to finally toppling the Evil King’s reign. Impa had warned me about the vengeful spirit living at the bottom of the dried well at the center of the Kakariko, but I prayed I wouldn’t see the day it would take its revenge upon the living. I want to believe it to be Ganondorf’s work as well, but it may simply be the sins of my forebears coming back to haunt me. I foolishly attempted to face the beast myself, despite Link showing up in time to offer his assistance, but I was barely an obstacle in its path as it set Kakariko ablaze. His foolhardy bravery was nearly the death of him when he drew the Master Sword on a menace he couldn’t even see. Link is still recovering as I write this, but his fairy, Navi, has remained perfectly aware enough to ask me what had happened. I simply told her to wait until he woke up so both of them could hear at once. Then she noticed that my mask had been torn off during the attack. I had to be careful with my words from there, knowing that I couldn’t reveal myself to her, lest she tell Link and blow my cover completely. Her initial shock was apparently because neither of them could tell if I was male or female, and Ruto had told them I was a man. I had to hold back a chuckle at that, and now I wonder if the Zora princess had begun to develop any scandalous fantasies for the mysterious Sheikah survivor who trained her in the ways of magic. Unfortunately for me, Navi seems to have quite the curious nature, since she then began to ask me questions about myself. I had to tell her that, yes I was a Sheikah, no I didn’t intend to hide my gender, and that I can get around Hyrule faster than them because I simply had more experience than them. I hesitated for a moment when the fairy started looking closer at me and said I looked familiar. After a moment’s thought, I told her that I’d been told I bear a resemblance to Impa, whom I called my mother to drive it home. Navi immediately accepted that as the reason she “recognized” me, since she and Link had met Impa after Zelda gave them their mission to collect the Spiritual Stones. Thankfully, Link woke up after I gave Navi that story, so I could move on from the interrogation and tell them of the shadow spirit’s return, and that Impa had likely gone to the Shadow Temple to reseal the beast. Before I could teach him the Nocturne of Shadow to take him to the temple, Link pulled out the Ocarina of Time and played a tune I’d heard from the windmill keeper. When he played the song, a mighty storm came down upon Kakariko, snuffing out the flames that the shadow spirit had started. Link then turned back to me like nothing happened, and asked how to get to the Shadow Temple. I told him that he would need to play the Nocturne of Shadow to get there, but that many traps within might befall him if he doesn’t have the Eye of Truth that all Sheikah bear. Link paused to think for a moment, and told me that he may have a way of getting such a thing without changing his genetics. He then asked me to come with him to the Temple of Time, since there was something that he wanted to know. I knew it’d only look suspicious if I refused, so I went with them. Hylia, give me strength…
*Link’s Journal: Day 5* When I pulled the sword from the pedestal, I found myself taken seven years into the future. Ganondorf knew all along, and he used us to do his dirty work. He got his hands on the Triforce and used it to plunge the world into chaos: Zora’s Domain froze over, the Gorons were to be fed to a fiery dragon, and the Forest was overrun with monsters. And it’s all my fault. If I just talked this out with Zelda more, we’d probably have figured out his true plan. But I trusted her word without questioning it. Just like I did with -Papa- the Great Deku Tree. So many questions I’ve asked myself all my life suddenly make sense now. Saria always said that I was different, but I always thought she was just being nice. Did she know all along? Did Mido know? Was I the only one who had no idea? Did the Deku Tree actually care about me, or was I just a weapon to be used against the enemies of Hyrule? No. I can’t just sit here and be sad for myself. I may be in a different time period now, but there are still people who need me in the future. As it stands, I’ve already rescued what Gorons survived in the Fire Temple, the waters of Hyrule are beginning to purify, and the forests are returning to the way they were before I left them. Now Sheik needs me. She still has a mama, one who’s fighting for her life in the Shadow Temple. All I need is to find the Eye of Truth in Kakariko now, so we can go in and save Impa then. I made this mess, and I’m going to clean it up, even if it’s the last thing I ever do…

I do hate how they once again skipped alot of stuff from the game and even more this time compared to the old series
My slow brain hasn't connected until now that "around and around" is meant to be lyrics to the song of storms 😮😮Holy shit, so the windmill guy was about to create the song of storms by himself without Link
Awesome stuff my friends!
47:48 Link: Zelda!
Fairy spirit Navi good mood link adult ganondorf vs battle war
I always imagined Malon having like a welsh-english accent, or even an Irish accent since the red hair and farmer stereotype. Still a great job.
And yes, I know the music of Lon Lon Ranch is a play on American cowboy/western but still. idk, my brain always just defaulted her to European because of the aesthetic of the game overall being castles and such.
Another dub gone, another dub listening to the best Ganondorf I've ever heard. And there's only more projects to come for the ZU community in 2025.
maybe A Link between Worlds can be the next dub work
This was such a nostalgia trip watching these, thank you for doing these dubs again! 😊☺️
Thinking about revisiting N64 OoT and MM again at some point on my own.
1:06:06 This is my favorite scene.
Adult link attack final blow master sword zelda light defeat ganon
It would be awesome if you guys dubbed major link's a hero's purpose!!!! Please
Do you think you can do a English dub on legend of Zelda link to the past?
Majora's Mask 64 is next eventually, right?
maybe in two years
I hope you can dub the N64 version of Majora's Mask.
That was fast
Please do twilight princess
*Sheik’s Codex: The Day of his return*
Having watched over him for seven years, I was honestly shocked when the shining blue crystal imprisoning him suddenly shattered to reveal a young man holding the sacred blade instead of the boy who was sent into the temple. I immediately recognized the princess’s first mistake regarding him, but I found myself lacking the heart to tell him. Did no one tell him his true heritage? What was the Deku Tree thinking‽
Soon after his awakening, the young man noticed my presence in the chamber and, understandably, turned his blade on me.
I don’t know what I’d do if he had to learn the truth that way…
Night had begun to fall by the time they finally arrived, though I barely even noticed his approach.
Showtime.
*Sheik’s Codex: 1 Day since his return*
After multiple hours of guarding the entrance to the Forest Temple (a much quieter task than I’d anticipated), a great flash of bright green light burst forth from the building, reducing the patrolling Moblins to dust.
*Sheik’s Codex: 2 Days since his return*
It’s finally happened.
*Sheik’s Codex: 3 Days since his return*
Having rendezvoused with Link at Lake Hylia, there’s no doubt in my mind.
*Link’s Journal: Day 5*
When I pulled the sword from the pedestal, I found myself taken seven years into the future.
I made this mess, and I’m going to clean it up, even if it’s the last thing I ever do…
Link's got a girlfriend!
Once again, this never fails. Everyone, three cheers for @ZeldaUniverseTV
