Let me state this! In the summer of 2011, I was fed up with the stock market. I had been in the stock market since 1995 and had made nothing! The bond people had down graded bonds because of the nation debt, and I got a big goose egg again! My portfolio was worth the same as 1995! I sold all my stocks and bought a mutual fund income fund, and thought, I do not have to play the game any longer, and I will be satisfied with an average of 3 to 4 percent annual!!! In 2021 I found out that the bond market was just as volital as the stock market! The national debt had more than doubled since 2011 and no one in the bond world noticed even when bonds were down graded again! I have made absolutely nothing since 2021 and my portfolio is worth less than it was in 2021! I do not kno the exact number I have paid management but I’m sure it is $100k! I will not name the fund becsuse I’m so broke I can not afford an attorney! I’m only telling u this because it is the truth and hopefully investors can learn from this before they find themselves in the same situation!

the yield on bonds have decreased especially on the long end (30 and 10 Y) indicating that the demand is still there even if the supply remains huge showing a preference for safety. I'm still at a crossroad regarding whether or not to liquidate my $138k

Find quality stocks that have long term potential, and ride with those stocks. I have found it takes someone who is very familiar with the market to make such good picks

I agree with you. I started out with investing on my own, but I lost a lot of money. I was able to pull out about $200k after the 2020 crash. I invested the money using an analyst, and in seven months, I raked in almost $673,000

I am tired of hearing and reading about an incoming while people keep profiting from this circle. The election and end-of-year market boost have me really pumped. If you had $80,000 right now, what hidden gems would you invest in? I’m aiming to set myself up for a strong financial year in 2025.

You didn't provide detailed information about your portfolio makeup. However, I recommend seeking guidance from a financial advisor for a well-informed portfolio restructuring.

You have a very valid point, I started investing on my own and for a long time, the market was really ripping me off. I decided to hire a broker, even though I was skeptical at first, and I beat the market by more than 9%. I thought it was a fluke until it happened two years in a row, and so I’ve been sticking to investing via an analyst.

There are a handful of experts in the field. I've experimented with a few over the past years, but I've stuck with ‘’Melissa Elise Robinson for about five years now, and her performance has been consistently impressive. She’s quite known in her field, look-her up.

The question shouldnt be that, because a percentage of our portfolio should allways be in bonds. The question should instead be: "Is now the time to go longer or shorter maturity"?? I dont think rates will lower that much more. Supply is bigger than demand. I wouldnt go more than 3 years duration

US savings accounts should be paying more interest then what bonds are.

As a beginner investor, it’s essential for you to have a mentor to keep you accountable.
Ruth Ann Tsakonas is my trade analyst, she has guided me to identify key market trends, pinpointed strategic entry points, and provided risk assessments, ensuring my trades decisions align with market dynamics for optimal returns..

I don't really blame people who panic. Lack of
information can be a big hurdle. I've been
making more than $100k passively by just
investing through an advisor, and I don't have
to do much work. Inflation or no inflation, my
finances remain secure. So I really don't blame
      people who panic.

The market trend can turn around very quickly. In fact, the indexes often switch from a bear market to a bull market when the news is at its worst and the mood of investors is at its lowest point. I read an article of people that grossed profits up to $150k during this crash, what are the best stocks to buy now or put on a watchlist?

This is still a window-shopping market. But there are a lot of intriguing stocks to watch from a variety of sectors. You don’t have to act on every forecast, hence i will suggest you get yourself a financial-advisor that can provide you with entry and exit points on the shares/ETF you focus on

I've been quite unsure about investing in this current market, but at the same time, I feel it's the best time to get started. I heard some guy speaking about making over a million dollars from a $300k capital, and I'm driven to ask what skillset and strategy can generate such profit?

    • @BonnieSetliff
      @BonnieSetliff หลายเดือนก่อน

You should avoid impulsive decisions driven by short-term fluctuations. It's important to prioritize patience and have a long-term perspective. Most importantly, consider financial advisory for informed buying and selling decisions. I think a lot of people minimize the importance of counsel until their own feelings become overwhelming. A few summers ago, after a protracted divorce, I needed a significant push to keep my firm afloat. I looked for licensed advisors and found someone with the highest qualifications. She helped my reserve increase from $160k to $890k despite inflation.
