I was actually contemplating about getting a cat but after hearing your in depth sharing, I realized there are a lot more points to consider beyond the basics of feeding, cleaning and taking care of them. Importantly your lifestyle and upcoming plans must be able to accommodate and embrace your pets wholly to ensure that it will be a successful relationship. I also thought your point about ensuring that your space at home is appropriate for the right number of pets. I have seen small houses with so many pets in there which deprive these furry friends a sufficient and comfortable space to grow in. Thanks so much again for this great piece of sharing!

我真的太赞同了，不稳定的人真的建议不要养宠物！特别是留学生，自己只身来到异国他乡，你的住所不稳定，经常都会搬家，小宠物换地方就会很焦虑，非常没有安全感，这并不是我们多摸摸它们它们就能立马恢复的。而且小宠物们难免生病，治疗费用作为学生的大家来说也会是一大笔支出了。再一个你放假回国的时候，这么一两个月它们没有自己主人的陪伴，心里就会觉得自己被抛弃了。今天当归小姐姐能在视频聊到这些真的太有感了！握手🤝

非常赞同！我也是从小国内养狗狗猫猫，领养的或者朋友狗狗生的（全家都非常喜欢动物，且负担得起。）但初中开始寄宿学校，就是家里阿姨管狗狗，越长大越后悔。后悔没有能够陪伴没有尽足够责任，说出来全是泪。后来出国就发誓再也不养，完全接受不了离别，每次哭得昏天暗地，想起来也是永远的后悔。狗狗猫猫绝对不是让你消遣的东西，他们是生命是家人，如果没法承担他们一辈子，没法让他们活得幸福快乐，非常不建议养。出国后，也是听没想到，一直持续再帮别人养狗子，陆陆续续，现在第五只，都是朋友回国寄养的。我觉得这样其实也很好，养别人的，当成自己的掌上明珠养，每天一定至少一次带出去溜，会专门做狗子能吃的两餐，偶尔狗粮，定时洗澡吃体外驱。如果以上做不到，还是建议大家别养！！或者偶尔帮别人养一下（如果你有过养宠物的经验）真的要想好，他们就是小孩小精灵，你就是唯一的依靠，不能一时兴起养一下或者觉得自个活的不好养个东西消遣。我现在养的这只是疫情前一个留学生托朋友送到我家。她自己已经回国但是狗子一直在公寓，只是有几个朋友轮流去送吃的。刚来的时候臭的不得了，像垃圾堆捡来的，而且非常非常防备，护食而且很害怕生人，很可怜。不知道已经被关在公寓多久，见到饭就疯狂吞咽停不下来，应该是之前饥一顿饱一顿。耳朵里堆满分泌物，很长时间没清理，也没有吃过体外驱。现在养了大半年，每天定时定量吃饭，经常水煮肉和鱼油补充营养。清理了耳朵，每两周洗澡，每天遛，无论心里还是生理都比较健康了。小朋友其实非常非常嗲人，因为一直网课基本上都是陪着他，出门尽量带着，不行的话就快点回家。尽管如此，以后应该还是不会自己去养，因为我清楚自己不是一个很安稳的人，应该不会固定呆在一个地方，还有就是离别接受不了。真心建议没有稳定的工作生活和收入，且不能负责每日饮食，清洁，遛，陪伴，定时体检的朋友不要开始养宠物。他们不是慰藉品，是需要爱护关怀和负责到底的生命。而且请尽量领养代替买卖吧！

我們家的貓只有年幼打過三合一就沒再打過疫苗了，很害怕會突然得VAS(雖然現在十一歲了還是活蹦蹦的XD)

很赞同你对养猫的观点。但是如果你不是因为家庭或者外在原因造成未来有可能弃养，如果你真心有毅力把他们当做家人照顾，我还是建议领养一只。也许会经历离别的伤感，但是在他们的有生之年，我们可以给他们一段幸福的猫生，也是好的。
理解，养我家豆豆的时候也是从小养，生过病，喂药，导致豆豆看到药瓶就往桌子下面躲。养宠物就像增加一个家庭成员，真的是慎重考虑。他回汪星以后我再也没有养过了，觉得挺难过，以后可能会跟女儿商量一下，看她要是准备好了，就再养吧。

我的in-law是从事animal rescue的 我听说的一个比较好的办法就是可以把猫猫包裹在毯子里 这样他们不会动的太厉害 也比较容易控制他们 下次当归可以试试（希望没有下次了！）

养猫之前认真思考，因为主子们一旦跟着我们就是把一辈子交给了我们。我在生活稳定之后（确定不再relocate，有稳定工作和住所），也是花了三年时间认真思考了很久才决定养猫。
另外，把药塞进嘴里捂着嘴巴然后轻轻揉一揉下颚到脖子处，猫咪会比较容易把药吞进去。我家主子每次吃药捂着嘴好久之后还能给我把药喷射出来的...喂药难真的太感同身受了...
每天吃的热量好像不少呢，当归健身运动吗？如何保持这么苗条的身材呀？
