    Our at-least-once-a-week Malaysian dish here in Finland. Always with some extra gravy to dip sandwich bread later.
    I tend to skip the curry leaves for chicken, beef and lamb curry, only use it when cooking fish curry to avoid overpowering’ it.
    Thank you, Ah Pa, for sharing your version of chicken curry. It’s marvellous, and that after shower lady must be very lucky to enjoy the meal 🤣

    Hallo Chef Ah Pa.. Step pertama u sudah silap..kuji manis, bungah rawang dan bungah chinkeh u sudah miss out, rempah u sudah harum tak paya bubuh tomato dan daun curry, daun curry unt curry ikan sahaja, step pertama, belachen goreng dan garam u sudah lambat bubuh dalam kuah curry ayam, jika u bubuh garam dalam last minutes, kuah u akan kalah pada lain Chef.. Ok.. Gd job. thank u.. Kam Sia. !

      Kayu manis 1 batang, bungah rawang 2 dan bungah Chinkeh 3 kutum yg kecil, jika u bubuh daun curry dan tomaro ,u puya cesipe sudah out yah, belachen goreng 1 tea spoon adalah paling mustahak dalam curry ayam ini, ingat ya garam pada step pertama.. Ok. Thank u. !

    I have cooked curry chicken before but failed miserably. But, thanks to Ah Pa, I now can cook curry chicken!! I have cooked using fresh milk & coconut milk respectively. Both also tasted so good!!!
    Once again thanks to you, Ah Pa for making cooking so easy & enjoyable ... making cooking an enriching experience for new cook like me 😆👍👏

    Why didnt put cumin?
    1 teaspoon.
    Usually i would blend all the fresh ingredients except curry leaves.
    Also try to use the roots of coriander to give maximum flavour.

    Hi Cooking Ah Pa, i have followed your recipe portion but ny husband still find my curry spicy. Should i reduce the curry powder but increase the tumeric and coriander powder dosage? Pls advise 🙏

      Some brands r spicier than others, if u use babas, then less spicy. If not, just reduce chili powder by half.

      Generally, most importantly is 2 tablespoons of red chili powder, 1 tablespoon of coriander powder and 1 tablespoon of turmeric powder.

    Sharing la…
    Ingredients:
    2 set of chicken thighs & wings
    Potato
    Curry leave
    1 x tomato
    1 x lemongrass (bruised)
    1 tbsp chopped ginger
    1 tbsp chopped Galangal
    1 tbsp chopped shallots (little red onion)
    1 tbsp chopped garlic
    1 tbsp chopped fresh coriander
    1 tbsp turmeric
    1 tbsp coriander powder
    2 tbsp red chilli powder
    Cooking oil
    Sauté fresh ingredients for 2 minutes (tomato mashed)
    Turn off heat & add powder ingredients.
    Sauté medium heat for 4mins
    Add chicken + potatoes
    High heat & stir well
    Add hot water to cover ingredients then let it boil.
    Simmer in medium heat for 20mins.
    Cut the potatoes to make sure it’s cooked.
    Finally put in Coconut milk (maybe like 150ml) & season it well with salt.
