I have to say, I love Game of Thrones hairstyles! Even though I don't watch the show (I'm such a wimp when it comes to violence!), I always love looking at the hair. Cersei Lannister's hair at the purple wedding was everything! I was so excited to do a tutorial on this hairstyle and I hope you were excited to see it :).

This is so beautiful. There are other tutorials but none of them are accurate. I have black hair so the only way I ever try this is I get a blonde wig and a lot of extra hair, but really cool. It would make a great evening hairdo.

Traci Davis Actually, Kanekalon is super light, so it's not bad at all :). Every time I practiced this hairstyle I wore it for another 2 or 3 hours just to make sure it held up and everything and it never bothered me :)

Great job. I love it and I always wondered why I couldn't do those voluminous hairstyle. I simply don't have enough hair cry. I am going to try this out hopefully it will work out because my hair doesn't do well with bobby pins. They don't seem to stay that long onto my hair.

that's beautiful. the only thing that sticks out is the root hair is much darker than the added hair--and you can't see the balayage for it to make sense. I would add some spray fibers in a color matching the added hair, to the roots, for a better blend.

I need some help! And you seem to be an expert (I know you're not, but for my sake you are). I'm going to be Anna for Halloween, and I am an OBSESSED perfectionist! All I want to do is her braids. Which I know are just simple pigtail braids, that's not the tricky part....
My hair is very long (about waist length, maybe almost 2 feet) and I wanted to find a simple blonde extension for recreating Anna's blonde patch. But when I went to the only Sally's we have in the area they didn't have any blonde kannekalon (or however you spell it) so I ended up purchasing 2 single inch long strands with clips at the end. Now I'm wondering what could be the best way to do this hairstyle and make sure the extensions look as REAL AS POSSIBLE. I'm going to be around a lot of little girls who are expecting Anna so I don't want her hair to fall out! That would totally ruin the effect! Now I've gone about trying multiple different ways of making the two strands work as one. (More info is that these two separate strands were not long enough for my hair. So I basically have to hook them together somehow... But it causes a huge bulky problem (I've got relatively thin hair too lucky me. I know lots of teasing will be involved), I've considered cutting the clips off and attaching them together with an elastic but it's just such a difficult situation! (No wonder they always say be careful how much you cut off because you can't glue it back on, hair can be a pain in the ass.)
Please, PLEASE help, I just don't know how to make this hairstyle comfortable, moveable, and worry free like I need it to be.
