Facts. Stats don’t tell the whole story. I’ve seen a couple channels do draft rankings and list their receiving yards but don’t mention that the wr got those yards off gimmicky routes and bro can’t actually run a route tree
My idea on Hunter that I think benefits everyone equally (the team, the player, and fantasy owners) is having him play WR, and moonlighting him exclusively in the middle 8 and last 4 of every game. That should translate to about 23-30 snaps per game on defense and probably something like 47-55 snaps on offense
Nice job as usual Matt. My opinion on Trey Harris is he has great hands he's an excellent receiver. However what was glaring to me about Trey Harris is he looks slow. He can't separate and I believe he will have a tough time of it in the NFL.
Lol I just watched some more Tre Harris vids and he's not that slow. I was mistaken. I did notice that he runs much faster after the catch then when he's running his routes.
FACTS, I have the exact same list. Emeka is on my list of favorites also. Every single one of these dudes can run routes. Royals is elite after the catch. Bech looks like a TE but has twitchy movement skills for his size. Ayomanor is just a baller. Higgins has glue hands. And Emeka has supreme route running ability.
I think 2nd round dynasty picks are going to give access to some really good WR and RB options this year. It seems like there is a tier of players where they all can have a chance to make an impact on their respective teams
It’s a golden rule of the RBB to trade for second round picks. They always translate to some major value come draft season, and this year certainly fits that build!
@@lhooks23 looking forward to watching the Colorado offense. The Shrine Bowl invites will help them too. Horn has been on my radar for a couple years, in particular
I understand he played for San Jose State but NICK NASH is very underrated & he lead the entire ncaa the entire season in multiple categories. There wasn’t a week he was not first in catches, yards & TD’s. He’s a former QB, great size IMO.
Nice work Matt! IMO, TMac is far and away the top WR in 2025. The only WR in this class that could run with the top WR's of the 2024 WR class, MHJ, Nabers, BTJ, Odunze I have cooled on Burden this year, his amount of work in the slot concerns me. Slot WR's with 1st round draft capital tend to struggle in the NFL (Burks), as teams want to force them to play outside due to their draft capital. I'd feel more comfortable grabbing a slot WR later in the draft, like Restrepo.
I understand that concern for sure, but when I watch Burden I do see a player whose skillset goes beyond the slot. He played along the outside successfully as a true freshmen at Mizzou but the slot is actually the “X” role in their offense
@@macdaddy111 ur lost in numbers and stats brodie. and ur only referring to this year. but i can’t convince you, you’ll just have to wait and watch when he’s in the nfl
Also, going off of my own scouting notes from last season, I'd ask you dive into Ali Jennings from Virginia Tech if you could. I have not watched anything of his from this season since I don't keep up much with college football, but I really liked what I saw out of him. If you don't, would love to know so that I can figure out what I need to refine in my tape skills!
How does Hunter project in an IDP league? The thought of putting him in my DB slot when he's out there catching TDs is very appealing. Reminds me of when the Texans were using JJ Watt in goal line packages about 10 years ago. In that scenario (WR/DB eligible in IDP) where would you rank Travis Hunter? Is he 1.01-level at that point? I still love Tet and Jeanty but I don't want to miss out on a unicorn if there's one to be had... am I wrong? Thanks!
I still have no idea with Hunter. I'm assuming he's drafted to be a CB and plays no more than 20 snaps at WR per game. Could absolutely still be productive but that's going to be the most difficult decision to make in drafts
He’s playing CB for sure. Then on top he might play 5-10 snaps at WR for critical downs or deep shots. His hands and ball tracking are the best in the class. The best.
I think I’m just way too high on Jayden Higgins and Jack Bech cause I don’t see them cracking others favorite WR lists. Just everytime I watch them, I can’t move either down my list.
@@Seth_Michael_Hernandez I’m a fan of both from watching live games! Higgins, especially, feels like he can take over games. I’m excited to get into their tape more
WR's Jack Bech - TCU, Mac Delena - Fresno St, Luke Wysong- New Mexico, Chase Roberts- BYU, and Trent Walker- Oregon St.... they all have something in common, other than they're NOT on your list...how come?

@RookieBigBoard Yes. The best WRs in the NFL for fantasy are all guys that are generally 6 foot or slightly over, with a decent build. See Chase, Jefferson, Lamb, etc.
Just found this channel, love the breakdowns. So refreshing to not have someone regurgitate stats and actually talk about player traits. 👏🏽
