Thats awesome. Nice lesson.
This started as a lesson about flanking and regular units, and then it became a "WASPS OWN!!!" lesson 😂😂😂 I agree that if the opponent got a bunch of wasps as chaff instead of the vulcans, that MIGHT have turned things around. Your fully-upgraded wasp card was a brilliant idea to fully counter his counter. I would like to try early shielded wasps on the opponent's side here to draw the fire of the snipers. I feel like the opponent's goal needs to be just MORE FRONT LINE, so the storms and scorps have time to work. Love to see a sledge win! GG WP great video as always.
Thank you, very educational
mass produced tanks is great
@stoneymechabellum both extended range sledge and mass produced sledge are nearly instapicks for me.
I love doing this to opponents. Baiting them into scorpion so they can discover I can punish scorpion much better than they can punish my tanks is so much fun.
Forts with shield died in 2 seconds 😮
2 of the 3 forts died so quickly they didn't even get to shoot their AA barrage. They got locked onto so quickly by those Marksman.
Think there was a lot the other player could of done. Either deploying wasps much sooner, like before fortresses even hit the board would have been an easy pick, and not taking the mass-produced scorpion tag was goofy. The other player also had next to no chaff like he had 4 squads of fangs and 3 squads of crawlers on ROUND 9; to give perspective, you had 6 crawlers 3 fangs and 13 squads of sledgehammers.
Good stuff guga, thanks for the insight. I may try aggro for once, this suffocating type of aggro interests me
Fun sledgie game.
Off topic question: do you think flanking giants need some balance? Yesterday i lost a game where my opponent had 8 boats Jump driving everywhere every turn and i think that with a proper early is too powerfull in mid or late game
mass jump boats is extremely strong. as soon as I think my opponent does that, I tend to ball up on one side, sacrifice the other and just upgrade the tower there, so that his mass boats end up against a ball of units by me instead of picking off different flanks. sometimes I even sell and move over units or at least beaconing troops to the other side so i get everything together. doesn't always work but it can help as sonn as you are not already behind (because upgrading tower a bunch of times will hit your eco after all)

I think is sometimes too casual to say "It s a tactic". Popping 5 boats in a turn just needs some luck and you cant react that fast. The game is lost if you haventt the luck of having a good board first
Maybe. It makes the game more boring since right now 2/5 games are some sort of jumpdrive boat play. I think a boat jumpdrive nerf is due. I don't have an issue with wasp jumpdrive however, since it fits the feel of the unit perfectly and can be countered if you're expecting it.
@@stoneymechabellum You' re right, the problem is in the spam and abuse from players, not in the stats of the boat itself. I'm a "spammer" too, i love fangs+forts, but it's not a mandatory win, i just love the style and how it looks
I think it's wrong to level mass produced sledge. You can just buy more sledge instead
probably not, but would multihackers do anything here?
Red took Scorps so early (and leveled them) that he kinda had to stick with them. And Hacker + big hit units do not go well together. Your Hacker will spend all its time to hack something and then a Scorpion or Phoenix comes in and instakills the almost hacked target.
I think the vulcans were the wrong call for red. Your crawlers were vulnerable to replicrawlers which would have greatly helped win the chaff war, especially once you selected split crawler.
