Old equipment requires a lot of TLC, but it's satisfying when you see your hard work bringing it back to good condition. Sometimes you find more than you expected but if you find it, it needs repaired.
It was satisfying fixing most of what was wrong with it. Two more things on the very soon list is to repair the hood where stack comes out and gauges. It needs gauges bad!
Thanks, yea most of it lift it was state owned and think the last 500 hours is where all the abuse got taken from other people. I have to figure out a gauge pod fix and it will suit my needs for a long time. Thanks for watching and commenting as always.
Good video again the was a long one and I like every minute of it good job on the video my friend you are a good Mechanic that was some good good operating The Backhoe keep up the hard work my friend Be safe
So, I believe it had air in it. The cylinder I think was leaking to a point that was getting air in the whole system. The more I lifted and set the boom down the smoother it got. I’m pretty sure I need to add more fluid still. But think I’m on the right track.
Great video Gary giving the backhoe some maintenance and TLC. Looks like it should work for what you need done. Thanks for sharing stay safe Gary.
Thanks! I’m happy that the repairs went as well as they did. Thanks as always for watching and commenting.

I remember when you first used the bucket arm, it had a free fall drop in the movement. What did you find that caused that?
