I recently started oil in my paintings..and it's been So overwhelming. I'm so glad I found your TH-cam channel. I love your work, you're such an inspiration. Thank you for these videos, they help a lot more than you might realize! Thank you 😊😊
Thank you so much, I appreciate it ☺️ and I don’t really have one specific color, depending on the lighting, grass can be all sorts of different colors! In general, it’s more yellow than you’d think 😊 definitely planning on making a color mixing video in the future!
Awesome tutorial...i use to get intimidated with huge canvas but thanks for the tips.❤... Btw can you share how you installed the wall mounted easel? Diy tutorial 😁
Of course! I’m actually the opposite, I get intimidated with small canvases because I feel like my detail has to be so much more accurate! And I actually got it from Etsy, the shop it called StudiumArtClub ☺️ it comes with installation instructions and all the anchors you’ll need! I highly recommend ♥️
It can definitely be tough trying to be efficient while producing high quality work! At the end of the day I think it’s better to spend the time producing high quality work. Also the more you paint the quicker you’ll become!
I typically paint wet on wet! It’s rare for me to need to let something dry before painting on top of it but layers are typically dry the very next day so sometimes it just happens that I’ll be painting over a dry layer.
Do you ever need to wait for the paint to dry between the stages? I tried this technique today but found the paint started to mix and lift the previous layer :)
I don’t wait, I typically paint wet on wet :) and try to use less medium in each layer, following the fat over lean principle will help the above layers adhere a bit better :)

Thank you so much!! And LOVING it! I have a 3x5 foot heavy duty canvas on it at the moment and it’s super sturdy 🙌🏻

Could you do a textures tutorial? Specifically, rocks because yours look amazing, but other textures too like tree bark and branches.
A rocks tutorials is definitely high on my list of tutorials to make! Next time I have a piece with good rock/stone texture I’ll make a tutorial 😁

do you paint wet on wet or you let your base layer dry up? if you let it dry, then for how many hrs?

Красиво! А акрилом вы рисуете? Маслом сложнее чем акрилом?
