In today's tutorial i will show you how to make a folding japanese fan. This is such an amazing craft idea that you should try it, try making it in colours of your choice.
Materials Required :
1. Card stock or Thick Paper
2. Black colour paper
3. Gift wrap paper
4. Binding wire
5. Thread
6. Needle
7. Tassel (Optional)
8. Glue

Thin cardboard, yes, thick cardboard, can work but generally looks way worse

I can't find any bending wire what do I use
Bending wire is the best option but you can use thread, Glue or tape the thread to the front and back wing.

What should I use instead of wire?
You can use "Thread".
Pass the thread through the holes, Tape the ends of the thread to the front wing and the back wing.

Make 3 layers of any paper to make it thick
Pretty late but hey better than never. i love that alternative idea. Everyone used sticks but I wanted a different style and that is pretty close to what i was envisioning. Looks really cool :D!
