We are fortunate to get knowledge from such senior singers like vijay ji.. In today's times he sure is immensely talented, learned, a mature artiste, simple living and popular.
Pranam Bijoyji . We are Lucy to get you as a proper Guru. I am following your thoroughly . And I also convey my regards to Mr. Sameeranji for his excellent conduction of this programme . I thank to CEC , Delhi for this programme.
So nice explanation of Aasawari that and it's subordinate Ragas is one of the greatest demonstration I have ever gone through. My heartiest Pronam to Guru vijay koparkarji. I wish to hear many such deeper explation of several other That/Raga from him. My sincere gratitude
It's beautiful...and very much useful. Sir please provide a class about the difference between Raag Asavari and Jounpuri. 💐....their chalan, bandish and taan
The way of explaining the all aspects of raga is very good...it will going to be very helpful for music learners.....Expect more lessons from you in future 🙏🙏
Sir, you are very great teacher sir. Vijayji koparkar sir, you have a peculiar teaching skills which enlighten the students like me. Prof. Dr. Raghunandana
This whole series is just wonderful! If u like a classical song, u can use P Sarkar or any other site to find out which raag it is based on, then listen to the detailed explanation of the raag here, and then enjoy the song even more! Soon, u may realize that u r drawn to a particular raag or thaat -- for me, its aasawari thaat.
I enjoyed Pt. Koparkar's exposition of the raag and how it is different from Jaunpuri and other related raags. Though for some reason, he did not mention Darbari at all, whihc has the same notes
Sir u have too share us so amazing & very important sides in the Indian classical music.. it's very helpful in my study's ..thank you so much sir 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
Good information but this is not correct to say that in Gwalior gharana they don't sing komal rishabh asawari. Actually Gwalior gharana is the oldest gharana and mother of all gharanas , rather komal rishabh asawari ' s origin is also Gwalior ! And not kirana Gharana. Kirana gharana picked komal rishabh asawari from GWALIOR only !! Vishnu digambar paluskar ji of Gwalior and bhatkhande ji used to sing komal rishabh asawari.( Bhatkhande ji also learned here in Gwalior. ) D. V. Paluskar ji of Gwalior gharana used to sing komal rishabh with commond and beauty. His record of this rag is still popular. * Dr Ishwarchandra Ramchandra karkare, MBBS, MD, MA vocal music, classical singer doordarshan. ( Resident of Gwalior. )
maalaa siraanchaa 'Re' khupach aawadalaa.. 'Re' while ending the phrase .. and then resting to 'Sa' what a different appearance .. wow.. didnot felt it suspense or not felt as sad.. but it gives some hope ..this 'Re' appeared before 11:21 here..
Brilliant lesson only request is that other gentlemen is not needed he can brief guruji off the camera would be even better when one tries to listen again & again for me every morning then other gentleman becomes irritating

No guru will teach you 24 hours. Its your practice that you have to do. He will only gave you a path and rest you have to practice by yourself.
