- This is an easy one-pot dish complete with protein and veggies.
A bit time is needed to deep fry the firm tofu and to simmer the leeks to soften it, but it's time worth spending.
With preparation and cook time of under 40 minutes, this is really SO EASY LAH! The recipe shown here feeds one, just double up accordingly if you are cooking for more.
Lovely to eat with a steaming bowl of rice.

looks delicious!
Thank you for your support. Give it a try when you can find China leeks. 🙂
I will look forward to the recipe, china leeks are available at this time
This is usually a Chinese New Year dish after the first few days of feasting.
China leeks are usually available during CNY, and because the fridge is usually stuffed to overflowing, the leeks are perfect because it can just sit on the counter for a few days until it is needed.
The leftover roast pork is usually used in this dish. If there are no roast pork, prawns or lup cheong can be used.
