I remember Harris picking up that ball and thinking oh hell no, don’t do that 😂 unbelievable return. RAAAAAAAAIIIIIIIIIIIDDDDDDDDDDEEEEEEEERRRRRRRRSSSSSSS!! ☠️☠️☠️
Tim Browns return against the cheifs was legendary. He was put back on special teams due to injuries and forbidden to return the kick. Gruden only wanted him to fair catch. So when he decided to run and took it to the house, it is one of the greatest plays in Raider history.
I remember it was Brown's second year when he tore that ACL and had to get reconstructive surgery. It took almost 3 years for Tim to fully recover. Had that injury not occur coupled with better quarterbacks during his prime, Brown would have had numbers close to Jerry Rice.
That DwayneHarris return was Made in the last MONDAY NightGame EVER in Oakland & it was Wild I worked there in the BlackHole & it happened right in front of us & won the game
You're damn right "underrated." For some reason these days, that term gets thrown around with reckless abandon, but in this context it's absolutely true. If I recall correctly, he ended his career #3 all time in receptions, yards and TDs. And that's while spending most of his years playing on bad teams with bad/mediocre QBs. Not to mention some early years as the best returner in the league! And...an absolute class act to boot. How on Earth does THAT guy not make it as a first ballot Hall of Famer?!
*WTF?!?* *How could you forget Jacoby Ford?!?* 😢 HE WAS A F--ING LEGEND, for the 2 1/2 Years he played for us… *I’m disappointed, to say the least.* 😤😡
When Philip Buchanan was good, he was really good. But man....when he was bad? He was BAD. Dude was all about touchdowns, either scoring them or giving them up.
I might be wrong, but I think when a defensive player doesn't securely the ball as he downs it, then it becomes a live ball, and a free play for the receiving team. It was an extremely smart play by Harris to be on top of that.
@@rudymartinez5270 you are exactly correct. It's illegal touching by the defense. The penalty was declined because of the touchdown, but honestly, any positive yardage would've been better than being pinned at the 1 yard line. Even if he only made at 5 yards.
Johnny lee higgins was sick
Sickness never held him back !
Dude was a baller until he caught a hospital ball against the Chargers, he never had the same fearlessness after that hit
Tim Brown was legendary
Yes he was! My favorite wr hand's down
T.B. ft or the T.D. mine too.
I hate when everyone says Bo Jackson!! Tim Brown was the first Raiders jersey I bought!! The original Mr. Raider!

I love me some good special teams plays!

@@isaiahayers1550 and he did all of that with 11 different quarterbacks
I can watch this 1000 times. 🏴☠️
All that was dope! Brought back some good memories
@4:23 That's an NFL record for oldest player to return a punt for a TD
TB81 could do it all even at 35
So many memories from the Oakland Coliseum.
I used to call Philip Buchanon a "RaiderCane".
Philip Buchanan was speed. Good corner too other than the MNF disaster against Green Bay.

Be nice if we had a return threat now.
You forgot Tim Browns return at Arrowhead after the penalty
Saved the best for last

Erik Harris return td at the end was amazing. Dude woulda been benched if he did that and got stopped immediately lol

*Dwayne Harris. Erik Harris was a safety.

Greg Pruitts return in the classic 83 game against the Redskins was their best of all time
