My 3 year old niece had a toy crib and when she rocked her baby doll it plays the melody to this song. I started singing the lyrics and she just stared at me then walked over and started singing it with me. Now we sing it everytime I hug her goodbye. So here we have a song written in 1910 being sung by a 3 year old in 2019. That is the beauty of music.

People who did songs back when could actually really sing, not just yell loudly- many had such good voices they barely needed any music background, and this is unfortunately far from the best playing of this song- the record was likely pretty worn.
