Very fun and satisfying to watch this in action, and great explanation for this fix! Great vid!

Already knew about this piece of magic, cause the first video had me interested enough. Good to see you referencing this one on ytb
2nos minecart filter is super handy for certain applications, especially when simplified, I specificially used it in my quarry storage to filter out all of the cobblestone as soon as the items exited the filters and before even sending them over to the stack sep sorter :)
In your original video, you said something to the effect of "this is not practical for item storage purposes" and I took that personally, to build a storage system for my needs with that as a prefilter for bulk items before items go into a CartMIS. When scaling it up to the size I wanted for all my bulk items, I did hit up against this bug, but I attributed it to weirdness with litematica. Luckily my laziness has paid off since I never got around to actually building it in survival. Excited to update this component!
BTW, my solution for handling the throughput was to have the items drop onto a pressure plate on mud/soul sand which sends hopper minecarts under them to collect while the plate is held, stacking the minecarts on the same block and yeeting them one at a time to drop their items onto a 2x hopper speed shulker loader that requests a cart when the top hopper has capacity. I just have an array of these for each item output from the bulk stack separators and anything else gets captured in a similar manner as it awaits shipping off to your Cart MIS (hall version, because I don't like exposed hoppers in my storage rooms). I'm not on a super technical server (It might as well be single player) so the cart entities piling up aren't too much of a problem. I'll probably post the build in the storage tech discord if I ever get around to building it for real!
Yeah man great build, hit me up when you post it I'm very interested !
oh paper server are gonna love this thing
its been a while since i have watch any Minecraft related content, thanks for reviving my memory missed all the og group of people,
miss you Glotz Jorvp boyen
Merry Christmas everyone
Why is it so satisfying to watch this run
Oh my god thank you so much. I commented back then that I had this issue and could not figure out what it was. This is hugely helpful
The quality of your content always amazes me!
I love your videos! I'm still dipping my toes into redstone and learning new things, and your item sorter videos have been loads of fun to watch, and have helped me learn and experiment with concepts you've used in your builds on my own
I hit this issue in the original world download - which I attributed to my potato pc. I want to use this as a bulk pre-filter so very happy there's a fix!
If I've learned something from Rechen is that 99.9% of the time he's trolling. Just ignore him xD
this is fire man, youre really underrated
Great job man! Congrats on 10k!!!!
Always love the work you do! Got me into Storage tech and learning redstone :)
I remember watching the previous video and just being absolutely blown away
This looks like a lot of fun. I think I watched your stack separation videos a while back, but it feels like time to revisit them again. There's just something fun about shooting stacks of items around before being properly sorted. I'm currently working on a hybrid gold/bartering farm and am now wondering where something like this could be applied. Practical/needed? Probably not. Fun? Most likely.
Merry Christmas to everyone🎄

Me: "That explains a lot actually"
Can't wait for more
😍😍😍😍
While "ultimate storage" is not a metric you can measure, "fastest item sorter" is. Your previous video wasn't clickbait
Everything raps touches is ultimate af
A comment for the algorithm
you the best
Wouldn't that be very laggy? Items are entities and this is especially, if the system is huge, will cause strong drawdowns of the FPS or I'm mistaken?
I think I would like to use this in the neither for the output of an incredibly fast guardian farm but how do I put those items into chest before they despawn on top of a hopper ?
If water is the only problem, it should still work in the end right?
it doesnt work for me all the hoppers are just locked and wont unlock
merry crimmiss!!
Does it work in pe?
