I’d really love to see you use the red e36 for a drift chassis. You have the built motor, the m3 subframes and the knowledge. And since there’s so much fab work involved in taking down a chassis and doing all the work, it’d make a lot of great content. And by next summer you really could have it ready.
I dont think he will prep a RHD e36 imported from japan for comp, that VIN is to rare for a comp car. Buy a ship shell and building it is the most efficient way to go imo
@@Slammed46 both m5x and s5x engines are used worldwide for drifting. Like sure, you can’t make 1000lb ft with them, but they’re plenty capable. Theyre great engines, we just don’t have a million of them running around, and therefore less specialist.

Comp/ seat time build: E46 sedan, there’s loads of them, they are cheap, tons of aftermarket support, they Can be made too look the shit, you can go thrash the hell out of it and not die a little inside everytime it gets hit or scratched like with the S13, because it’s too nice for comps now.🖤 And this is ALOT better than most UK car content nowadays,keep it up!🤘

Then immediately being backed up by jim when he says how crazy different it feels, how it should have felt all along.

My opinion, if Jimmy wants to build a pro-2/FD style chassis, I think the 180 would be a good way to keep the S-chassis spirit without the attachment we all have to the 1J Coupe or cherry hatch or any of the other cars we’ve watched him build. If not, we all know he’ll do something super dope regardless

19:37 Found out recently the % for a forecast isn't the chance of precipitation it's how much of the projected area will receive the precipitation, so if it's 40% rain and you live in Brooklyn NYC then 40% of Brooklyn is projected to receive rain.
You need some Derale fans boss. The ones on my VVTI 1J S13 work very well, they do 2k CFM each. Those and a derale oil cooler with the fan/fans on it help keep the car running very cool plus you're already on E so those things will make a huge differnce, I recently lived out near AZ for a couple of years and keeping the oil temps down drastically help with the water temps.
Jimmy you should see about a tire sponsor honestly. Even if its discounted rate for you vs "free" tires. Just a thought. I think you are marketable enough for something like that. Just do what you feel is right. Love the channel! Can't wait to see what happens next!

Hey buddy love the driving also I think it was your clutch slipping and the reason for the grind is also because it’s not fully dis engaging bring the rod in for more pressure or it’s to far in and it’s been smoking them! People forget you can’t adjust clutch pedals on hydraulic clutches for better feels!

I know exactly what you mean. Drove with my mate to get my Caterham 7 flat floor set up for my weight with correct camber ride height etc. can’t believe how much better it is. Feels totally different and then my mate was just chuckling as he didn’t get it so much😅

Let jimmy know that I know where the holy grail twin turbo 300zx is. Its like someone checked the box on the build sheet that just said all when the order was put in. And from what I understand just from factory upgrades the car is already pushing close to 500hp. If he wants to know more about it let me know. I just figured if anyone would appreciate a car like this with all of the plastics still on it, window stickers, and it's only been test drove a few times, jimmy would.

you should try redline shockproof or maybe torco gear oil in the trans... it might help it if its not too far gone.
