This week for a special Wooly Wednesday treat, we have a fairy original project, created by our very own Fairy Katie! These Simple Forest Friends are a spin-off of the beloved Simple Fox Needle Felting Kit and have taken new life in this fantastic bunch of critters!
In this tutorial, Marie shows you how to needle felt three fun forest animals - a Bat, an Owl, and a Red Panda! The same assortment of fibers can be used to make all three of these simple animals. First we will needle felt a firm base shape to use for each of the critters, then felt some easy ears options, adorable faces, attach wings to the flighted friends, and add a little tail on the red panda as well.
This beginner needle felting tutorial is perfect for beginners and kids as the instructions are simple and these forest critters can be completed in a short amount of time.
We just know you'll fall in love with these simple forest friends! The kit for this tutorial provides everything you need to make three forest friends, plus diagrams to assist :) We can't wait to see your forest friends!
