Landry Walker comes the closest to SU as far as sound from N.O. high schools.. SA ain't built like dat
It's really disrespectful to compare ANYONE to the gold standard of marching bands.. all of them should strive to be the best versions of themselves, but when it comes to SU even some colleges never reach that level.. there is SU then everyone else!!

Sound good, hard to believe they're marching and playing, so crisp and balanced, sounds like a CD...Btw, Southern Need to get back to Nurturing N.O. bands, Especially Kennedy and bring them back to being baby S.U. now that they're opened back up. Jackson State is starting to have major Influence in N.O. bands through Karr H.S., who is die hard Jackson State fans and is now 1 of the top band and bands are now emulating them and their Jackson State Style... S.U. could be losing recruits.
Their band director is from Jackson, SU is not worry about that they will never lose recruit and plus some of Karr will be at Southern this year #FACTS
Believe me, SU plays a major part of New Orleans Bands, but it's great to see other bands with different styles, I like Karr, I'm glad they have JSU style, they look great, but you can't sleep on Landry Walker and St. Augustine.

@@vivecasufan4life595 of course not ever Karr member will be at Jackson. but i'm pointing out the majority and who they look to and try to emulate as a whole. I have no problem with other bands having different style, however i look at things farther down the line, Southern has always made it's stamp on N.O. and that was mainly because the top Bands All, every single one tried to duplicate SU and looked to SU. and all bands under them followed suit trying to emulate them. this is my 1st time seeing any Top N.O bands deviate and lead other bands to more of a JSU style. Again. I have no problem with bands having different styles But when top bands begin to deviate from 1 band to another it changes things. i tend to look at things and long term effects
