- MY EXTRAORDINARY is the 1st Filipino #BoysLove (BL) series on national television. It is a tender story about innocence, friendship, the beauty of awakening desire, acceptance and how time heals all wounds.
#MyExtraordinary follows the colorful story of two college students, Shake (Darwin Yu) and Ken, (Enzo Santiago) and how they try to express themselves despite the society's many expectations.

It's just that from prep school, to elementary, to high school, to college, to post graduate studies, the medium of instruction are English and filipino. And even before a child goes to school, conversations everywhere normally are in english and filipino so...
English is my only language and I love how the Philippines incorporates English into their language. I've been watching so many different Asian dramas for months now, so when I hear the English, I'm like "wait am I slowly understanding the Filipino language now?" Then I realize it's English. LOL.

As an English teacher, I *wish* my classes were like that, with students who were engaged and passionate. It's hard out here for some of us.
This series is different, no GQ models. Just ordinary people. Good themes to work with. High hopes for this series. Good audio and production value.

@@MrWmJosephSmithIII It is the sleep I miss out on. Last night I did not go to sleep till nearly 3 am. So I lost about 5 hours sleep because I should have been asleep at 10 pm.. I live in Australia which is 2 hours ahead of the Philippines and 3 hours ahead of Thailand. As most BLs do not start till late of a night that is early morning for me!
These Pinoy are flooding TH-cam this days, a lot of series from Filipinos, I just finished one which caught my attention and unresistable to ignore.
This actually makes me wonder that all these years where have they been where other Asian counterparts do a lot bl series while trending everywhere specially Thai. Is it that a Law was just released for them to be free compare to some of us that are still gaged with the Law because of some official who are still primitive. Anyways, is all good that Filipinos are also good in BL making, not only making it but so interesting to watch.

Seeing , a lot of comments I realized that most of the people here dont know what it is to be in a billingual/multilingual country.
I as an Indian can relate to this coz we also switch between languages like that.
Also for the same reason most of the Indians dont have a good vocabulary of either of the languages . This is also one of the reason we switch between languages . There are parts in India where you have to learn atleast 3 to 4 languages to completely fit in the soceity , one being English as it is taught in all schools in India
I can tell this is going to be truly outrageous and amazing episode I am very excited to watch it right now

In fairness, ang ganda ng pilot episode. Sobrang kakabitin. Galing ng cinematography, sound, and acting. Cute din ng chemistry nilang dalawa plus yung OST, sarap pakinggan. Lakas yung Thai BL vibe ng series na to. Lakas talaga maka Thai series actually. Favorite kong scene yung nagpakilala sila sa isa't isa at yung basketball scene. May spark. Naramdaman ko agad. Looks like may aabangan naman tayo every week.
