I think #9 is debatable. I’ve dated someone, who ALWAYS wanted me to go to her family’s house. I would go for awhile, but then I realized it was a very constant thing. We would stay at their family house for hours! They celebrated every single birthday, always some function and etc. I got annoyed, it felt like I was dating her family after awhile. So it all depends on the individual as well. I’m good at talking to people, but I don’t like being around a bunch of people ALL the time. Especially other peoples family, you can’t really be yourself (relax, and do what you want). * I think a lot of these channels have very good relationship/personal development advice. But we also have to be wary of being unrealistic. Everyone has all these rules and steps, a person must meet to “qualify “. But we have to be honest with ourselves, no one is perfect across the board (some may put on a good show for awhile). Sure some may have better attributes than others, but no one meets every guideline 100%. So we have to be careful to not be so quick to discard someone, as soon as we see a flaw. Cause every single one of us has flaws (Even relationship/life coaches). No I’m not saying you should settle for infidelity, abuse of any kind, or a manipulative/controlling partner, but just be careful. Cause if we really walk around with all of these guidelines (playing process of elimination), we all will be single 😂. Use guidelines in moderation people.

Thank you so much. Point 10 almost brought me to tears. I dealt with that for 8 years. I pointed out early in the relationship, "I can accept truth no matter what it is, lies I can't deal with." This person never seemed to understand that, no matter what she would lie, leaving me confused. Many times I wanted to just leave, but I couldn't read the situation. My gut screamed, she's lying, but my heart said, "maybe I'm over thinking ". For that reason I couldn't leave because I wanted to be sure. Sure because we share children. At the end I was considering taking my own life, that's how much pain and hurt built up in me. Even now to guard the fact that she's sleeping with the man she destroyed our family over, she shutdown all means of communication, keeping me away from my children. You would think after a man loved you enough to father your other 2 children, you would make sure he continues a healthy relationship with his after you choose to move on. I could go on and on, but please continue you are living your purpose. God bless you sister....
