same although its kind of expected cause this is the shsm version which focuses mostly on the arts so it makes sense that it's well done if u want another well done one check out mount olive middle schools version of the little mermaid jr it's also so good

Tbh Ariel was a better dancer than she was actress or singer, this was overall the best production I’ve seen but Flotsam and Jetsam stoke the show for me they were INCREDIBLE
the only main critique I have is the revealing costumes, they were too much in my opinion and if I was the director I would choose more appropriate costumes. other than that I think that this is the best one I have seen yet. the singing is great, not pitchy, no screaming. And the boys were really good singers which is something u don't hear often. they were on key and in fathoms below the ending harmony was perfection. they were all excellent singers, actors, and performers in general. overall I am very impressed and on a scale of 1-10 I give 8.5. sorry this comment is so long lol
uh, their mermaids. They literally only wear bras. It doesn't look inappropriate unless you make it that way. It's the human body, and they are all covered up. If this is inappropriate you might as well say the Disney cartoon and all mermaids are dressed negatively.
Bla Blah yeah they’re also kids in this show, mermaids can very easily be covered up. It’s different in the movie cause it’s animated but this is a JR show and it’s meant for kids from elementary to high school and I doubt anyone would want their kid on stage in only a bra decorated with seashells
@@gracelenore2236 everyone in the show whom wore the 'revealing' costumes was 18+ or 17 and had parent's consent. And we had a few actors ask for their costumes to be more revealing.

This was amazing but I'm not surprised because this is a shsm production so this is literally all the people do it's a specialized program that follows one specific vein of education. I was in the arts and technology shsm at my high school
