Amazing- or should I say Miranda, he sold the property he had with her, re-recorded some of his songs to remove her voice so she wouldn’t get credit or earnings on them, bought the storefront and inn she owned in his hometown to get rid of her presence there and remodeled the inn to get rid of all traces of her. He hasn’t mentioned her at all in 5 years except to give songwriting credit.

Blake plays up the drinking shtick to fit in with the drinking theme popular on country radio ( every other song is about beer), but I agree he used to drink a lot more heavily when with his ex, Miranda. She seems to love to hang out in bars. Remember when Blake had to pull her off of the Nickelback singer in 2010 when she was drunk in a bar punching him??
Blake is helping raise 3 kids now, and he’s rarely been seen in bars unless he’s promoting something. People on set say the plastic cup he drinks out of is tea or Gatorade. Remember that Blake sued In Touch magazine in 2015 for saying he was in rehab? He testified in court that the drinking was just a shtick, and he didn’t have a problem. They settled out of court and printed a retraction (admitted it as a lie).

Blake knows who Gwen is, and he loves her. She is now his wife. She may not have been born in the country, but she now lives in Oklahoma with Blake in the house he built for her when she doesn’t have to be in LA for her kids’ school. She has done hit music of just about every genre, and now she has 2 #1 country songs with Blake. So what is your point? She lives in the country in Oklahoma and does country songs. She also lives in LA and does pop music. Why do people have to do or be only one thing? No need to label people. There are good people and bad people in both the country and the city. And none of this has anything at all to do with why Blake loves her. He loves her because she’s kind, honest, loyal, a good mother, faith filled, family oriented, funny, happy go lucky, and a good friend.
Cant wait till he cheats on her too. It will suck though cuz she isnt young,and wont bounce back like Miranda did. I was a huge Gwen fan till she got between Miranda and Blake. Just bad timing.

It is easy to find the truth if you really want to know. My husband passed away in 2015 and I started watching The Voice. I could not miss a show. The first season Gwen came on she just had Apollo (he was 5 months old) and she brought him with her because she was breastfeeding. Gavin was on the show with her. There were rumors for over a year that Blake and Miranda were splitting. He really wanted to start a family and she didn't. She liked touring so they weren't able to spend much time together. Gwen had nothing to do with their divorce. The next season Gwen was on, Blake had divorced Miranda and Gwen was separated from Gavin and had filed for divorce. (only her parents knew)
Miranda’s cheating ways with her married tour manager Ryan W is what got between Blake and Miranda. That’s when Blake divorced her. His divorce was finalized July 2015 and started dating Gwen 3 months later in October.
Miranda is a married man chaser that gets bored once she has them. Broke up Blake’s first marriage, Ryan’s, Evan Felker’s too after Blake.
Gwen on the other hand already knows what it feels like to be cheated on. She is very loyal. She stayed with her cheating ex for 20 years.
Gwen bounced back just fine after divorcing a cheater at 44 years old with a billboard #1 album and finding true love. Also FYI Miranda is no spring chicken either. She’s 40 with no kids and no record label now that her contract with Sony is up. I’d be more concerned about that if I was a fan. Gwen’s got a family and still on her original record label.
