Honestly so far I’m enjoying ride 5, I’ve started to play without the ideal trajectory lines, turning a lot of other features off and upping the ai difficulty, it’s actually quite fun to play, I remember how easy it used to be when we had like PGR 4 and MotoGP 06 to 07 without racing lines, just makes the gaming experience so much better.
The Head to Head seems to be incredibly lenient, you still get a Bronze Medal for losing by 37s lol Glad to see more of this game and looking forward to what comes next :)
The bikes feel glued to the road. And traction control on 0 you can full lean and chop full throttle and it doesnt spill out. Im honestly disappointed af at ride 5 so far
Ride 4 started off with a lot more lively physics, and the crying wolf mafia starting bitching about it being too hard. Milestone folded, and now it's pretty obvious they have done a lot to cater for these people who are not the players who will play the game the most. The physics have a big bungie effect, and the faster bikes have a very 80s turbolag ketchup effect to the throttle response. You apply throttle and just nothing, then you wait, and wait and then boom! There's no feel nor any contact with the surface so you're just floating around and everything feels like jello. I also dislike no vibration feedback during braking, so braking is now simply a guessing game. Oh, and the understeer... The understeer...
Really sad to see how this Ride 4.5 has the usual uncompetitive Milestone AI. So disappointing to see how this product with an absolute lack of new content and true evolution is called RIDE 5
Ok I take back everything I said on the your earlier video's about Ride 5 being bad, I can see after The bike Gears, Tire, Brake upgrades, I see no more Bike wobbling into a loss of tire grip working it's way into a slide crash. But I see a little of that strange 29:45 and 31:29 wobble. I worry about that bike wobbling though, for when the road is wet.
The physics have the bungie effect so you're just floating around pretty much. Yes it has more weight, but I feel no contact with the tarmac and it's just very arcadey. There's also no vibration feedback through the controller during braking etc so braking is now just a guessing game. Personally I liked the more direct feedback of the physics in Ride 4, and I feel they are trying to cater even more to the people who only play every once in a while as well as completely fresh players. It's very weird to use a fully upgraded 1000cc sportbike that feels like it has the worst turbolag since the 80s. There's no direct/linear throttle response. You apply throttle and you wait, wait and BOOM. The ketchup effect is real. I'm still going to continue playing the game because I'm tired of Ride 4, and I hope that some patching over time will at least fix some of these bungie effects. Try slapping a block of jello, and you quickly can visualize the physics of this game.
@@a8f235that is what I was worried about, this will be the first ride I haven't purchased, they had ride 4 on the right path the first week then people complained and they had to make it way to easy instead of giving us hardcore players the ability to change the physics to a true simulation, why cant they do something for their loyal fans that have bought each installment
Not there right now, and at least something of this nature need to be implemented so we can be able to earn credits faster than we do now. Personally I just want to get to the point where I have all bikes and that they are fully upgraded and with liveries and all of that. Singleplayer is never going to be my reason for playing these games, so I just want everything ready to do some online + some time trials here and there. The weekly for me was just something I grinded till I could purchase all bikes and upgrade them. I never liked being forced to use stock bikes with stock tires.
The straight line speed seems more reasonable here, against those AIs on the same bikes in the last 2 races. Maybe it was just an upgrades thing? Or, given that the guy you had the 1 on 1 with was a mid-packer, maybe you're not really supposed to win?
Fuel consumption is only available in the endurance races, tyre wear can’t seem to turn on int the first stages of career and there’s no damage option.
The sound of the engine revs is odd, almost like it's the same pitch for each gear. I see you still can't change liveries like in pretty much every other racing/driving game, this time you have to buy another bike. Better than Ride4 where you needed to get each bike to level 5 if you wanted to change it. Nice reviews so far though.
it has good driving physics, still too easy, but ok, at least FOR NOW.... but milestone will surely patch it making it even easier, because gamers will cry and complain that is too hard, bike understeers and they can't drive them.... as they've always done for Ride games, unfortunately
What a horrible customization system i was expecting something new atleast like ride 3 but no, money speal louder, the aspect that is supposed to make all the difference is the cheapest, no way um buying this game, same as ride 4, they just released a new game instead of making more bikes to ride 4 not worth

Took me a while to dial in but I now think that Ride 4 has the best physics/gameplay.
