My darling, Lisa, I have been following you for almost 40 years now. Your voice is magnificent. I’ve been there when you came to Greece. Thank you for everything our love. The last time I saw you was with my best friend that then died from cancer. Thank you so much.
Pure music, alchemy. It comes to me that when you have searched and searched for this one genre which at once stops you in your tracks and you no longer have to listen, because it is as if this music has always been a part of your deeper self, deep inside your Soul, then suddenly I can sense this music as an extension of all that is good and holy. Quite, listen, I have become spellbound.. Bless you!
I wish I could tell Lisa how much her music means to me, but just like her music I cannot really put it in words. It's like a detachment from my body, an ethereal place where I can watch the world in awe, where even the bad things have a beauty in them. Sometimes it feels as if the music was always there but Lisa discovered it and made it available... Thank you!
very well put into words. we all feel the same. although the interpretation and imagery is different for us all. you can hear so many so many vast cultures and empires through this sound if sound it can be called. feels like it existed long before time itself...her craft.
Lisa must be from another universe because in our universe there is nothing as hauntingly beautiful as this. It sounds like a voice deep in heaven where we may one day meet her in person.
No, Lisa is not God... but a beautiful gift from God🙂... Lisa, listen to your voice for many years... I love your courage, I love your sincerity... I love your heart and soul... you have one of the most haunting voices on this planet ... your music is truly an inspiration... thank you Lisa... thank you Jesus
Just bought it! I always have and always will love LiasGerrard's talents. I cant call it music cause its so much more I cant call it poetry because that doesn't do it justice. Pure Talent.xo
+Arch Yeomans Are you sure about this? From what source do you know that it's occitan? Or do you have the lyrics? This is the first album by Lisa Gerrard or Dead Can Dance that I have a hard time pinpointing what is its overall theme, because I can't find any satisfying interview or text giving hints. It seems to deal a lot with the sea(s), but then, is that the "twilight kingdom"? The sea? I thought she meant some geographical space up north where it's literally twilight all year long (and maybe the land on the sleeve was inundated from the melting arctic, I had a whole scenario), but now I'm certain that it doesn't correspond with the land on the sleeve art (I don't know where the sleeve and video were shot but it's not the north, the video made that obvious). Ok, I disgressed.
This amazing artist inspired the musician that I am today, I hope to be as amazing as you are. Thank you for making me fall in love with new age music 💙✨🔮
Lisa Gerard’s music is the path made for me to bring forth my book. Nearly every song from both her and her band, Dead Can Dance, formed the add Tory that will be unforgettable when you decide to read it. She is a character in my second book. But to get to the second, you must first read the first. It is called the Mourikis Project: the Path of the Outsider. Part and Volume I. In this story, these songs were always with her since “the Era of Divinity.”
road1rash "My only regret is I never got to see you perform live with The DCD" Oh this so much. They did come to Chile, but not to Brazil, where I live. At the time, a trip to Chile was out of question, so I was really disappointed when news of the South American leg ot their latest tour (I think) came to me. Hopefully, we'll get to see them in the future, friend.
+Fractal Dragons I also want to see them. They performed in a moment where my life was very turbulent. Now I am afraid it might not happen again. But never seeing them live and wanting to be a part of that can also be a beautiful regret, a testament to that time is a dictator and that we are running out of it.
In the past couple says I"v been seeing her name written everywhere. And seeing people that look exactly like people I knew. That I never spoke to or said goodbye. Like lights.bsoible vision.
beautiful track from a wonderful album. The greatest vocalist I have listened to have seen her do it live more than once (solo Union chapel 1995), DCD @1987,B'ham, London 1989,1990. Thank you Lisa.
The sand grain found it easier to roll With the wave Standing upright was no play The vision got blurry That sense of belonging to such stampede Where do we go We rolled before Where do we go We did together Where do we go She does the same Where did she go

Been listening to Lisa for 37 years. Best 37 years of my life.
👍 🎵=🗝️
Lisa Gerrard is the voice of the cosmos.
She takes your soul and gives it wings - she takes you outside of time and space
Bravo za KOMENTAR 🤗♥️
What a beautiful poetic expression!
Reminds me of Malakai Bayoh. I watched recently his singing as well. They sing in the frequency of divine harmony -- 963 Hz
What a beautiful comment 🤍
My greatest and most beautiful artist. Lisa, your soul echoes in us.
Im biologically related to her (shes my 3rd cousin)
Тоже очень ее люблю, слушаю всегда)👍👌👏👏👏🌷
Yes.. I too first heard her during a Heart’s of Space midnight radio hour during the Christmas holidays 1989.

Simplemente te transporta en otra dimensión...

All those memory’s will be lost like tears in rain😢

Musica para conectar con tu interior en estos dias tan locos.Gracias,Lisa
Give your tears to the tide.💔
One and only one Lisa. No body could be another substitute.
Every time my day was tough, the night is where I come to find solace
Song and voice and words from another galaxy. The film is the most moving on the sea (and on human condition) I've ever seen
Just bought it! I always have and always will love LiasGerrard's talents. I cant call it music cause its so much more I cant call it poetry because that doesn't do it justice. Pure Talent.xo
So beautiful. Love Lisa Gerrard's music and art work.
Sang in the language one's soul speaks.A spiritually soulful language.Pain and peace expelled exquisitely.

@@ArchYeomans It doesn't sound like what we call "langue d'oc" ... I think Lisa uses once again her own language, idioglossia.
No words can describe my feeling about this. Always been a fan of DCD but this is just breathtaking. Majestic piece of music.
Maravilloso, poetico, me relaja, me calma, me transporta a otras épocas, personas y lugares...
awesome and very emotional harmony
Une voie, que j'ai souvent écouté et écoute encore. Entendus dans bien des films pour nous transporter dans l'ambiance du sujet.
I watch this when I'm stressed, and then i feel some strange relief, as if some great beauty touches my head and heart.
Mesmerising
She has held me through past grief.
Fell in ❤️ with Lisa s voice at 14
This is one of the most beautiful things I have ever experienced. Moved to tears. Filled with gratitude.
This amazing artist inspired the musician that I am today, I hope to be as amazing as you are. Thank you for making me fall in love with new age music 💙✨🔮

MIRACLE...
The sand grain found it easier to roll
With the wave
Standing upright was no play
The vision got blurry
That sense of belonging to such stampede
Where do we go
We rolled before
Where do we go
We did together
Where do we go
She does the same
Where did she go
