The main purpose of this video tutorial is to demonstrate HOW TO determinate (experimentally) the friction factor ʎ at different regimes of movement of the studied fluid flow and to present graphically the physical relationship: ʎ=f(Re).
The used laboratory test system is studied in details.
An interesting theoretical introduction is included.
The video presentation and the experiment performed aim to check whether or not a well-known hydraulic statement, based on the basic theory, is correct. To see which is it just watch the video!
