Another question please
How can I get the value of date ssh connection that is mentionned in login banner (PrintLastLog yes) without using the command last or lastlog
Just check /var/log/auth.log
@@ServerGyan thanks for the reply
Actually I code a script to audit our parc
The prb is the option (-F) of the command last doesn't work in RHEL 5, that gives me the complete date with year field in RHEL7&6, that's why I need that value from ssh banner
We have RHEL hosts from 3 to 7
If you have any suggestions you're welcome
Thanks a lot
Sure dear, I will check if I have rhel 5 and get back to you.
Moreover, you can try auditd

A user has launched one EC2 instance in the US West region. The user wants to access the RDS instance launched in the US East region from that EC2 instance.
How can the user configure the access for that EC2 instance?
I think you can access RDS from any region using Endpoint, you need to allow connection from ec2 by adding its public ip address in RDS.
correct me if I am wrong.
Yes we can add
But this brings latency

Yes mam. Bcoz for survive in industry, only linux admin is not enough. So along with OS you will need to technology like Aws. Once you become expert in AWS then you can go with DevOps. After mastering devOps you can move into "Security". This is Career path after linux admin. Along with time and upgrading to new technology ,you will get much better hike.

differnece between df -ht and du- ?
df -hT shows you disks space along with filesystem type and Du is used inside / for check size of directories.(disk utilization)
Around 1.5-2 months back i repeatedly asked u about difference between permissions given by chmod and suid ....but despite saying you would include it in ur coming videos...u never answered it or included it in any of ur videos.........
@nitinrawat9477 Hey bro, Chmod comes under category permission and Suid comes under special permission. With chmod permission you can run only normal commands but with suid permission you can run super user commands allowed by root user and its gets tracked in a particular directory. Thats the diffrence bro.hope i have clarified your dought.

Changing root name is not suggested, as it is a superuser and preforms multiple things.
