- Welcome to another episode in the FIFA 20 Career Mode Rebuilding challenge series! The whole objective of this rebuilding challenge is to see how many seasons it takes through simulation and transfer business to qualify for a Champions League final, it'll then be up to us to put our skills to the test and see if we can complete the job! Hey Jarrad , i'm a belgian and the top 6 from the season is going to play-off 1 and the others is going to play-off 2 ( relegetion play-off in fifa) and the winner from play-off 2 and the 4the from play-off 1 play against each other and the winner is going to europa league
and the points are halft

So to clarify
When the league splits each clubs’ points are split in half and then from then on it is 3 points for a win etc
The play off is for Europa league between the 4th placed side I think and the club who finished first in the mid table round.

@Nathan Lockley last time when Royal Antwerp was in UEFA Champions League is in 1957, the biggest success is that royal Antwerp went to quarter-finals in UEFA Europa League in 1990. Anderlecht was winner of UEFA Europa League in 1983, the biggest Success in UEFA Champions League That Anderlecht was 2 times in Semifinals in 1982 and 1986.

To clarify: after the regular season the points in the Belgian league get halved for the play-offs (technically only play-off 1, but the others don't really matter).

Anderlecht are one of my favorite teams to use in FIFA Career Mode.
A lot of young talent like Tielemans and Svilar have come from there.
The playofs in Belgium are the top6 teams where the points are cut in half to make it more exiting. At the end is 1st peace playing champions league, 2 playofs for champions league, 3, 4 Europa cup and the winnen of play of 2 and the cup winner play A match for the last spot in Europa league. there doing well currently but its more of the backstory. this team, the oldest of the professional leagues, were created in 1865. they won 2 fa cups in the last century... yeah. When brian clough took over, he was in a difficult position. he took them from mid championship, to promoted, to premier league winners in 4 years! the club went on to win Champions League (European Cup back then) in 1979 and 1980. then he died and things went downhill. two back to back relegations saw them facing league one. a player by the name of junior agogo pretty much carried them to the championship. then last year he died from a heart attack. they are struggling financially aswell. like so jarrad can see

Play-offs are 3 groups of teams
Play off 1 : top 6
Play off 2 are two groups
First group : 7th,9th,12th and 14th are in that poule.
Second group: 8th,10th,11th and 13th are in that poule.
Play off 3 :15th and 16th are in that poule, it's basically the relegation battle.
Everyone's points are cut in half so it will be more exciting.
Hope i teached u guys something.

I'm a MFF supporter but i think IFK Göteborg is in a bigger need of a rebuild since they were the biggest club in scandinavia in the 80's/90's but are dwelling in midtable nowadays.

Play-off 2: they play for nothing, except for the winners of the tables, they play against each other for a europa league qualification
Last place: doenst participate in the play-off's and relegates to the second division

the relegation rounds are called play off 2A and play off 2B. The winner of the A group plays against the winner of the B group for the last European ticket. The championship is play off 1 where the first 6 teams are located with their points split in half. sorry for the bad English :)

In Belgium when the regular season ends, number 1-6 points get split in half and they go into 'Play-off 1' to fight for European spots while number 7-15 get divided in 2 play-offs of 6 teams with some of the divison 2 teams to play against eachother while number 16 relegates. There are even more complicated rules like the number 5 plays against the cup winner etc. but that will make it too difficult :)
