Somehow looses balance and falls over the side, into the sea. Sees the funny side and laughs loudly in the sunlight. Worth mentioning that the two extras are minor characters from Shenmue 2 (baseball fan & fisherman). HIGHWAY CAT - Dressed up for a date with Texas Hawk. Calls out to him, unaware he fell in water. Upset as thinks she's been stood up. IRON BULL - Iron Bull is on the pier fishing. Bigfoot & Lizardtail are chasing Noisy Duck. He runs behind Iron Bull. They demand he hands him over; he refuses. Lizard sends Bigfoot to attack him. Iron Bull headbuts Bigfoot; he staggers and Noisy Duck kicks him over the pier edge. Iron Bull then points to Lizardtail to jump off pier. Frightened, Lizardtail jumps. Iron Bull and Noisy Duck celebrate! SOUL MAN - Dances on pier with 3 of his friends. Throws afro up in the air at the end, revealing he is bald! ICHIBAN - Playing The King Of Route 66 in Penny Arcade. He waves to you, then the camera pans out to reveal the other characters playing the game too. In my opinion, the best ending!
Sadly, these endings didnt appear in the PS2 version. Instead we ge to see the Boss of Tornado reminicing over who he was with Lizard Tail, Big Foot, and Danny Edge as just truckers before being a Big Corp trucking evil company His quotes was "Where the wind takes ya" back with his old crew back when they were younger.
I grew up on 18 Wheeler: Pro American Trucker. I never knew this even existed, I like how they used Texas Hawk, Highway Cat, and the asian dude from the other game into this one. Very cool to see how they learned from 18 Wheeler to make a longer, more challenging game. I kinda wish they would've added Lizard Tail, just to know what they made of him in the aftermath. Unless that's who Danny Edger is supposed to be

18 Wheeler is another game that came out year 2000. The "King of Route 66" came after, in 2002. And it is sort of based upon the 18 Wheeler with Lizard Tail and his new 'friend'. There are two large trucks harrasing you on the roads in the "KOR66", in 18W only Lizard Tail was your opponent, and in 18W you couldn't destroy Lizard Tail's truck because he was too fast. Here you can demolish both the badguy's truck when bumping into them enough times. I actually have videos of both games, my KOR66 is mostly a compilation of fun moments in the game, but 18W game is played as best I can. i honestly really liked this game. good setup where difficulty is translated through the distance you have to drive. and excellent delivery for the story with more stages and seeing a few reoccurring characters like texas hawk and highway cat to really make it seem like a true sequel to 18 wheeler. not to mention the side story mode as well. the only negative thing i have to say about this as a whole is i cant stand the rubber banding of the rival trucks. its _much_ much worse than the original game. honestly, 18 wheeler lizard tail wasnt that bad because he would only rubber band a certain distance ahead of you before slowing down. but these were just the worse because sometimes they wouldnt stop and would rubber band right past you and _keep_ going straight to the finish where you could never catch up. that made the lizard tail/bigfoot duel the bane of my existence simply because of having to deal with 2 very poorly coded rubber banding trucks at the same time. lizard tail would keep rubber banding ahead while i kept getting blocked by bigfoot snaking. i had to restart more times for them than i did for mr crown, who i beat on like try 4 after realizing you pretty much have to be in first person view in order to see.

The race against Luna Queen en route to the O.G. Truck Stop, they took out the shortcut that was in the arcade version.
