Pop_OS used to be my favorite distro, but when they said they intended to leave Gnome, I started to look for a substitude and I found it: Debian Gnome! I would like to use Debian Mate, but I do NOT understand why, but Debian Mate is fully rich of glitches. Do you feel the same or is just my impression?
Is it possible to change the name of the system harddrive? For example "pop_os" instead of "Computer".Changes in gparted have no effect in the File Manager.
Open the Disk application, such as Gnome-Disk Utility , click the drive and find gear symbol, there should be option for that . You can also use a Live Media USB stick or DVD and look for Gparted if listed there. Best of Luck, t
