Three family birthdays this week caused me to miss the liv. Husband turned 79, a daughter-in-law turned 57 and a grandson turned 24. I love this card and the box. I've already made samples and love how easy they are for multiples, which I'll be making.
Hello Julie & Bryon - I did not get here in time for your live .. I caught the replay. This is a great card & super cute gift as & holder. Thank you for sharing these projects. They are super cute. Have a great week. 👏👏👏💕🌻
Love all your projects !!! I make 80 Christmas cards every year to send to family and friends . Hope you don’t mind but will make this card for my Christmas cards which means for 3 yrs in a row I have cased your cards for my family and friends ❤️🎄
Hi. Cute projects, as usual. Your bow is sideways because you have essentially tied a granny knot. If you were to wrap your ribbon the opposite direction around your first loop (contrary to what you are used to doing), you will then essentially be creating a square knot. You will most likely need to practice to get used to it. Its the manner in which I have always tied my shoes, dress sashes, gift bows, etc.
Thank you, Diana! I'll definitely practice! I thought square knots allow the ends to run parallel to the ribbon, while with granny knots the ends run perpendicular to the ribbon (or rope), so maybe it's a granny knot I need for this gift box... hmmm. Thank you for this! I always tie regular strings/knots in square knots ("right over left, left over right" I say to myself 🤣), but bows are next level - LOL!
Looking at it again, I do believe you are correct that you need a granny knot instead. You are one of the rare people I watch who have their bows go the correct way most of the time. You do beautiful work (and I do like ordering from your site as you are so kind with your emails.)
Thank you so much, Diana! I am honored to inspire you and grateful to have you as a customer! BTW, I tried wrapping my ribbon tail the other way around the loop and it worked to make the bow perpendicular! I did it before taking pictures for the project sheet! Thank you so much for the tip!!
Julie watching the replay! I love these two projects tonight, will definitely make these when I return home from my mini US vacation. Where do you purchase your hand cream? Thanks for all of your inspiration. You’re an amazing demonstrator.

For photopolymer stamps I always rub a pink eraser over the stamp and it will not be splotchy when I stamp!

Amazing Projects! I noticed on you paper cutter there is a white strip. What is the white strip? Does it help hold the paper in place?
