Mohaka River Grade 5 - The Big One

The Mohaka River Grade 4/5 section features technical rapids within amazing canyons - you need to be prepared to paddle to make sure you keep the raft where it needs to be.

Grade 5?

It's probably grade 5 because of the amount of water that flows, litres per second. It's nothing in comparison to the Wairoa.
