As you know the character goku from dragon ball as been inspired by this legend but people keep mistaking sun wukong inspired by Goku his story has been writen in 16 century

I think this game has multiple endings, like Elden Ring for example. But maybe you can see multiple of them in the same playthrough, like God of War? Some context to what is happening here (from the myth): -5:33 I think this guy's 3rd eye can see through disguises. 12:22 Wu Kong has 72 transformations in the myth. I think he and him in their previous fight had a shapeshifting duel. -10:25 Wu Kong probably doesn't have health at the start since in the Journey to the West story he gains immortality like 6 or 7 different times. -12:47 I think in the myth heaven tricked Wu Kong into wearing this crown and when somebody chants a mantra his head starts to hurt or sth like that.
Dont worry, later on when u get the magical gourd slightly further (an NPC will give it to you), u can Retrieve Spirit of the Wandering Wight at the shrines even though the purple spirit is gone. You didnt waste your effort or lose out on the chance to absorb. Also, you are basically fighting the Wandering Wight on hard difficulty because you fought it too early before learning more about the game, you can always come back to fight it, shrines are like the waypoints in diablo.
I think it would be cool to see your reaction to the Monkey King "Journey to the West" mythos from china, which is the story that happend before this game. I have watched the video "Sun Wukong: The Stone Monkey of Chinese Legends (Journey to the West)" and can recommend watching/reacting to it as well. After watching it I definitely recognized some characters from this game already.
It’s crazy how during the first fight Wukong can block, but ones you start playing you can’t block any more lol. I was loosing my mind looking for the blocking action.

Btw that at 6:53 is such a cute excited giggle. Also fyi, the novel which the game is based was completed around 1590, but of course most people find it identical to Guku due to Japanese stuff was a thing above all.

I have not played this game but if i'm right, you basically fought Wandering Wight with one hand tied to your back. I only assume this since you can't pick that soul yet and usually these kind of battles needs some extra punch.

Hi lunity havent watched alot yet, but heard you say you are on ps5. I've been having lots of stutters and lag issues with the game myself on ps5. And read it is very common atm, so wanted to say it early in case you wanted to switch to pc for performance.

When swing the staff, surrounding trees sway very realistically, the physics system in this game is insane

Seems like u don't have enough health portion as u don't use it at the final stage
can u gather more health portion? So its kind of unlimited usage
you get more healing charges later as you progress through the game! Only limited amounts, no unlimited healing haha
