That’s a cautionary tale for two things “never bite the hand that feeds you” meaning Gabriel was literally the anchor for Elise and with out him her world fell apart. The other thing is “appreciate what you have before it becomes what you had” meaning Gabriel was the only guy that treated her right yet she treated him like crap but ended up regretting finding out that it was his kidney that was given to her not his brother’s
there is also a lesson of not keeping secrets, like for real, how can she even reach that conclusion and how can he keep it from her? In her mind he did nothing since obviously she attributed it to his brother.
Karma is a bitch or so they say, which in this context it's true. The only good point about Elise is that at the end she truly realise how good was Gabriel toward her but accepted that he deserve better than her which is commendable
Yeah. At least at the end, she got a character development. She admit her mistake, let go of MC, and wish him happiness. She even admit that MC’s loved for her in the past timeline will not be toped by anyone, realizing that she didn’t know what she have until she lost it.
24:20 "Misunderstanding" Dude, you kept what you did a secret and let her think for 15 years that your brother gave away his kidney. I swear the secrets people keep to stay humble is what ruins too many marriages.
I'm sorry but that shouldn't make a difference. People are allowed to do things for the ones they love just because they love them not for any reward. If she loved him the same the rest makes no difference. She didn't need to know, just be grateful. If she really wanted to repay just live your life well. If she truly loved him she wouldn't have been ambiguous with her feelings.
@@TeresaRosser-ov8zd you do realize that actions affect perception of people and that it also affects emotions? I just love how she describe everything around 25:15 .... I mean girl... What you want is a Nanny/Butler not a husband. Get lost. Edit : coming back after finishing, even at the end it's still the same, it's about HER, how SHE is treated, although MC always tried to avoid her and cut short any convo she never even tried to apologize for how she and her parents treated him for all those years... Aside from that, i wished we had a tiny pov from her at thr end, like why she was so cruel on MC's death bed or why she treated him like that etc(I mean, ok she loved the brother because of a misunderstanding, whatever, but even if she doesn't love MC is that a reason to treat him badly? Not like he killed his bro...)
While in a vacuum this is good enough for a revenge story, I wish it was deeper. The only takeaway from the regression was to not be a simp. More plot twists would've been great. Would've loved a sort of redemption arc around Elise where she resolves to be a better person to Gabriel after realizing how good she had it. Regressed and finds out he regressed too and staying the hell away from her and then focusing the story on her changing and becoming a better person and both of them finding love amidst all that hardship and previous betraya. But alas. AI stories still have their limitations.
Its the mc fault in the first place not telling everything to her... and also the girl has a problem ignoring her own husband for someone she really likes
@@hellfiremain9204but bro misunderstanding is a different problem and not loving/ caring is different thing but she literally said she loves his brother to him who is about to die i mean what audacity
she assumed it was the brother and had a medical chart with one kidney. even if he did, she would assume he was lying. besides he probably thought she knew it was from him and just didn't appreciate it and never brought it up until he was about to die. I'd say it's on her for not mentioning it and communicating until his deathbed.
Homeboy should have filed a restraining order on that scrub: Elise. Still going full Chad mode and breaking her ego down with no uncertain direct confrontation when approached is extremely satisfying.

the wife thought it was the brother, but it was his kidney. he died from kidney failure after donating his kidney to her. as he didn't do it in the new timeline he will not die from it. you're welcome
These stories are always uncomfortable. On the one 6 understand not wanting to travel down the same road, but on the other hand, pushing the blame on a person that has turn into that person yet seems kind of weird.
It’s because of trauma. Even if the other one isn’t doing anything wrong on the second timeline, the MC was scared of what that person did on him/her in the past timeline. That’s why there are many readers who hate the controversial novel and manhwa named “The Abandoned Empress”.
@thelonewolf3582 I get you point the issue is often or rather the question is towards the direction of the narrative in most cases. Having a situation where the mc change and levels up doesn't directly mean that the old girlfriend has to become broken. There is the potential for a peaceful route for everyone involved. Don't get me wrong in some of the stories. The transition is when both characters have already gone down the path to tragedy and having the mc return moment before their last chance is different. For example, the one where the childhood friend is in love with a troubled person leading to the mc's death. In that case, nothing will the friends future I talking about ones where the relationship hasn't even started until later in life. In these cases, ideally, everyone could end up happily.
@emeralh9415 In this case, yes, but in some of the stories, I can understand the former love interest being frustrated. There are situations and misunderstandings that have yet to take place but are still held against them. Additionally, in some stories, the Mc could change the outcome or prevent certain situations, but either let's them happen or simply get angry despite knowing the outcome. I'm not sure if you have seen the movie minority report, but it is the situation presented in that movie.
@@sashwing7726 The issue is that the person generally trays the MC TRULY HORRIBLY. While it’s true that they have not yet done those things, that’s not going to make the MC magically forget their trauma and not hold against them to at least some degree. They don’t want to be nice to them or help them because they are disgusted by what they went through, by what that person showed they were capable of. So they just want nothing to do with them. Which is their right.
