This is a carrier landing, but not a case 1 i think the "groove" is around 15 seconds, which leaves a lot less time to get lined up.

Yep. It would take all day to land a squadron with that pattern. That said, I have to fly a wide pattern myself - doing it the way it’s done in real life kills me every time.

Use the São Paulo aircraft carrier (Foch). Have a mode for download. It reminds a ARA 25 de Mayo

i need help.
whenever i land on the carrier, the nose landing gear goes right inside the carrier. i tried many times, but the problem still seems to persist. what am i doing wrong?

you are doing nothing wrong. it is a known bug of the mod, related with the source code of latest versions of dcs. As far as I can remenber, It only happens if you start the mission in air. If you start the mission in a runway (or in the carrier) it will not happen when you land
