Nice! Dontcha just love serendipity? My mom was born and raised 30 miles east of Nashville. A town called Lebanon. The Allman Bros went to school there. Killer crystals and fossils!
Every state we travel to, we try to bring one rock home for our yard flower beds but you know.....it would have been hard to pick just one! So beautiful and easy access too...BONUS.
Great rock hounding day! I love all of your finds. Beautiful crystals and the amazing different fern fossils. What a blast you and Ariana must've had. 👍❤️
Have fun travelling can't wait for new music! Ps please put some on you tube so we can see you perform in real life! If i could i would meet you if i lived closer! Have fun my friend
Bro!, fossil hunting on the side of the road is like literally just the coolest thing there is. Like a few years ago I was in France with my parents and best friend and literally just on the side of the road there's this Mountain of rocks and stuff and then I'll be pulling out some 30+ belemnite fossils plus a small Ammonite that i still have! A tiny little one that is lile stuck into the matrix which is awesome. Anyways awesome video and have fun on your tour!!!
Absolutely loved your video. Kyle and I was hoping you’d be headed north to do a few gigs. I’d love to hear what you have to sing. I like country music, so keep on rockin, hounding and Making a music❤❤
I think both Ariana's piece at 7:15 and the "flowy" piece Kyle was looking at at 5:30 were each pieces in a cave system and possibly part of stalactites or stalagmites. The patterns are very reminiscent of dripping or slow flowing water.
kyle, you and your friend make a great video, very pretty finds,Also it's enjoyable when you go with paleocris and Brei.I heard your singing and my lady friend and I think you have a very good voice. We wish you and yours well.
Awesome crystals & plant fossils ! Some of the colored specimens both of you found are amazing. Really enjoyed the explore & love the finds ! Best wishes and regards to both of you !
Awesome finds! I found some a lot like that in Longview, Tx. Shells and all kinds of stuff showing and with crystals forming inside the shells. Great video as always and can't wait to hear more music!!!
Those were incredible fossils! Those beautiful ferns and the different species! They were incredible! And the crystals too! What an incredible day! You two scored big time! Way to go!
I love your blue rocks. When you stopped on the road side and found all those weird crystals, that was amazing stuff. If only l could have leeped, throw the lens 😮wow 😊. Those falsals
It's good to see Arianna back in your videos. Nashville was built on a Limestone Basin. There are lots of aquatic fossils here that can be found at about any road cut through the hills (Old Hickory Blvd. and Briley Pkwy just to name a couple.) Just watch out for the crazy drivers so you don't get run over.
Super cool!! I thought I was the only one that stopped on the highway to check out rocks lol what great finds! I would have those in my front yard rock garden!! And those fossils are incredible! I have a couple leaf fossils and they are impressive! Cool video 🙌🤗
A friend and I spent almost a week around Jasper and Coaltown, or something with coal in it. We found much of what you did but we also found some completely round (about3 inches diameter)
Awesome that you can find some great stuff while you're there! We have a place near where I live , that has all of the druzy like that. The vein goes all the way up the mountain. ( It's not like the Rockies or anything 😂 ) I used to climb up that mountain....not anymore I'm sorry to say....
I WISHid known you were playing in columbia!! I totally would have come for your show. I am loving all those crystals and fossils. The tiny points are amazing. Dogtooth calcite is my stone!! Who am I kidding... I love anything Shiny and sparkly!!! Those are great. Good video. You should do tours or excursions for ppl. I'd pay to have you and Chris and friends to go rock, crystal, and bottle hunting!!
A really cool place to look at fossils is the fossil beds on the Ohio river across from Louisville. You cant keep them but its pretty fun time killer and when the river is low its huge
Are there any specific tips that you could give to find good spots for fossils? It seems a lot of the good spots are on private property or so remote you can’t find them online
FYI not all calcite is UV reactive. And some quartz is reactive. Around St. Louis quartz has a subtle red response and around haunted ridge and Washington county MO it has both yellow and red response. So good luck.
Hi Kyle, I am wondering which creek/river those carboniferous fossil ferns were found. I am planning a trip to alabama to find a carboniferous fossil site for plants!
Kyle the grey rock you picked up at 11:25 into the video, actually there’s a creepy dolls face dead center in it when you tilted it. It’s a chubby faced doll. Check in out. They’re after you man.
Who would have thought millions of years ago that some day a man and woman would be digging for remnants of the existence of these plants? Think about it. Hard to wrap the mind around how long ago it was and that so many of these plants disappeared except for their impressions in mud which is now rock.
Nice! Dontcha just love serendipity? My mom was born and raised 30 miles east of Nashville. A town called Lebanon. The Allman Bros went to school there. Killer crystals and fossils!
You are sooooo luckyyyyyy!!!!! The only reason I miss living in Alabama is finding these beautiful things !
Alabama has so many beautiful treasures!
9:59. OMG. Wonderful one!
Beautiful crystals and beautiful fern fossils, well I'm all caught up again.
I’m pretty sure that stuff in the beginning is called flow stone from underground caves.
Awesome Y'all 👍💗👍
I can't wait for you to clean them up and show us!
5:53 I believe you’ve got yourself a dripstone/cave formation there
Calcite makes up most cave formations like that, it’s got the texture
Cool!
Every state we travel to, we try to bring one rock home for our yard flower beds but you know.....it would have been hard to pick just one! So beautiful and easy access too...BONUS.
Hope you had a nice Easter .
Some of the fossils looked like fine art prints! Beautiful repeating patterns and earth tone colors.
You two found some fantastic fossils. Great video.
Great finds. Glad to hear you are touring. Your CDs are great but maybe sometime I'll get to hear you love.
Great rock hounding day! I love all of your finds. Beautiful crystals and the amazing different fern fossils. What a blast you and Ariana must've had. 👍❤️
Omg them fern fossils are AMAZING! You can see all the details it's beautiful 😮❤❤
Plant fossils are the coolest...I found my first ones on a railroad tracks on side of a mountain. ♥️♥️♥️♥️
Some fantastic finds, my favourites were definitely the 300 Million year old plant fossils.
Have to love road side hounding! Some of my coolest finds ever came from fresh road cuts! 🤘 great stuff man.
Wow so many fossils that’s great!
Watching one of these crystalicious videos be like a ridiculously long drool fest. 😍🤩😍
Crystalicious is the best word hahaha!
Have fun travelling can't wait for new music! Ps please put some on you tube so we can see you perform in real life! If i could i would meet you if i lived closer! Have fun my friend

Very fun and different!!!

Thanks so much Grace! I'll be doing a LOT more touring from now on! What cities would be close to you?
Love them all😊😊😊😊😊

Yea,it was like someone had litterally torn down a beautiful cavern somewhere to make the road side. Such a shame
Some great fossils! Very interesting crystals too!

Thanks for being here :)
You and Ariana make a great fossil hunting team! Very cool finds! Wishing and sending best wishes for a grand tour Kyle! Have a great week!
Thank you Julianne! I love having Ariana along for the hunts. Thank you for the well wishes on my tour!
Great finds for the two of you!!!
Thank you Marian!
Oooo those are awesome finds!
I do love those fern fossils, they're so detailed! And as for the crystals, what girl doesn't like a little shiny??? Awesome fossils, Kyle!❤
I love your blue rocks. When you stopped on the road side and found all those weird crystals, that was amazing stuff. If only l could have leeped, throw the lens 😮wow 😊. Those falsals
If you make it out west to Colorado look me up I’ve got a few places you would enjoy!
I found palm tree leaf fossils outside Trinidad a few years ago.
Crystal heaven. So envious! ❤🎸🏏

Those leaf fossils are so cool! :-)
The Calcite you found along the road was amazing.❤
That was great! Can you share where you where?
Excellent work and great finds

I'll definitely be back in Columbia! Will let y'all know for sure!
Cool fossils. That chunk from the first half looked like a fish spine. Thanks.
You are amazing!
My home town!
Hello beautiful Kyle. Hope you are doing well.
You need to talk to Nashville(?) Public Works and find out what quarry that stuff in the first part came from!
And what is your music channel?
Hey Ike! You can search Kyle Keller and find my music!
@@WILDKYLE C & W sounds? There are 2 Kellers.....
I have a bunch of those crystallized rocks like the ones you're finding. I found mine in the last couple of weeks.
Fantastic fossil finds
Love your videos
That’s incredible
I'm in Nashville! I'd love to show you my local fossil spots! ❤️
The "starburst" look like Asterophyllites, a leaf cluster associated with Calamites

Are there any specific tips that you could give to find good spots for fossils? It seems a lot of the good spots are on private property or so remote you can’t find them online
I think I'm going to make a video on this very soon!
Why didn't that stuff decompose (especially the ferns) before it was fossilized? It's been a long time since I was in school haha
It was buried in a low oxygen environment from what I understand!
5:45 that formation looks almost biological, like some stingray curled up, maybe a plant? super cool
Beautiful
Most of that looks like what you would find around caves. Redepositing from water breaking down limestone.
What river is it?
FYI not all calcite is UV reactive. And some quartz is reactive. Around St. Louis quartz has a subtle red response and around haunted ridge and Washington county MO it has both yellow and red response. So good luck.

always love your vids! I noticed I have a weird Blue Ball Jar. I wanted to send you a picture. but don't know how.
Hi Kyle, I am wondering which creek/river those carboniferous fossil ferns were found. I am planning a trip to alabama to find a carboniferous fossil site for plants!
If your selling fossils please provide links, cool video 👍
Nice. I’m guessing rocks form relatively quickly?
calamites. But they are delicate, can;t leave them outside.
Kyle the grey rock you picked up at 11:25 into the video, actually there’s a creepy dolls face dead center in it when you tilted it. It’s a chubby faced doll. Check in out. They’re after you man.
Could you show us how it reacts to ultra violet?
To heck with the UV light. Have you never heard of using a hardness (scratch) test or acid test to determine if a sample is calcite or quartz?
It looks like the calcite formed in a cave
Who would have thought millions of years ago that some day a man and woman would be digging for remnants of the existence of these plants? Think about it. Hard to wrap the mind around how long ago it was and that so many of these plants disappeared except for their impressions in mud which is now rock.
What river is this?
❤
I would of taken nearly all of them home with me.
Isn’t one a stalagmite or stalagmite the one with those ribs
Some of the formations came from a cave . Definitely stalagmites 😮
i found a complete triceratops skeleton in my backyard yesterday
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
❤❤❤
The one rock almost looks like fish bones that turned into calcite
💕
HAVE YOU SEEN RESTLESS ROAD BAND.
✌🏻❤️🙂🙏
💙💙💙
Fern Frond not branch 😂
Might be meth😂😂😂😂
OMG 🤣🤣🤣
@@WILDKYLE they don't shake that bottle here in alabama anymore, they started growing it on the rocks
