Join the Iron Oath Fitness Whoop Community! Go to the community tab and enter this invite code (COMM-4D361F). Will be giving away some awesome prizes at the end of January 2025 for most recovered and highest strain over that month.

I'm pretty new to lifting but I use strength trainer every time I lift as I want the most accurate strain. Creating new workouts can be a bit tedious after a while but I don't mind manually starting and stopping the sets while actually working out. I just wish they would add more features to it like being able to see your history for each exercise or even some kind of suggestions for sets and reps based on our history for us beginners.

Yup, it was far more accurate for strain which is awesome! Yes exactly what me and @JasonRaneses were saying. If they just continued to support it and add functionality it could be very good! Awesome to hear it’s working for you though man👍🏼

Just add the strength trainer data after your workout, thats what i do 4 Times a Week. Way more easier than live tracking. I just update my weights and reps during my workout. Strain scores than look very accurate compared to my runs.

Yeah that definitely seems like the better way to do it.

I have used this for 6+ months and gave up on it. Feels like Whoop launched the feature set and also gave up on refining it themselves.
Way too tedious and not practical for daily use.

Yeah, I have a similar takeaway.
I think on paper it sounds really good, but you nailed it, not for daily use. It could be so much better though if they just fixed a couple things and made its ease of use better.

@@IronOathFitnessSo do you not recommend the Whoop band anymore? Just watched your previous video and it seemed to be all praise.

@ I 100% recommend it still. This is such a small feature out of what Whoop offers that in my opinion most people don’t need it. If you only wanted the Whoop to track your strength metrics like this then no, but if you want something that can track sleep, HRV, RHR, RR, recovery, calories, and more accurately then Whoop is king in my opinion.

@ okay great! They have a sale going on so I am strongly considering pulling the trigger, this comment made me a little nervous lol I thought you had changed your stance on the whoop band. Thanks a lot for replying and sharing your thoughts.

@ Yeah definitely get it on sale if you can! I know it’s expensive, but I’ve continuously subscribed to it since 2019 and don’t regret it at all!
